Moyes is really shooting himself in the foot, if he hasn't already, by basically playing the 'underdog' card to Liverpool and Manchester City. First he said Liverpool are the favorites in their recent game against United and now City are what they must aspire to be and reach their level. It might be true but it is unthinkable for a manager managing a big club like United readily bowing down and praising arguably their 2 fierciest rivals in the public. Typical case of a manager with a small club mentality. Almost like Hodgson at Liverpool. Ouch! Said this the other day, players that go to Arsenal to play under Wenger would not develop into a genuine world class player. They may well improve their technical abilities and maybe even their physical abilities to play the tippy-tappy football but not the mental aspects as well that will take them to the next level. They are like glass and fragile. Knock them off a little bit and they'll crack. It's no surprise that in recent years when Arsenal have been challenging for the title, they always crack and fall away come February or March onwards. However when they are only fighting to finish 4th, they don't and always go on a strong run to finish the season well.

Mata didn't play well but do you really expect managers to hang a player specifically out to dry in the public?
-
That is rather random.. EDIT: Would be delighted if we really do get Lallana. Such a classy player and an underrated one at that. As for Shaw, doubt he'll even want to go to Madrid.

It's funny. If we had beaten some of the lesser sides that we dropped points against and sitting further clear right now, people wouldn't even be complaining about those 2 games against United and Arsenal. Getting a point away from home against your rival (at least back then) is not a bad result. Admittedly, the approach in the two said games weren't probably the best but circumstances then dictated we played such way. Maybe we should just gone out there and attack them. We might have won or maybe even lose by a couple of goals, that would please some people I supposed..

The inevitable meltdown and that 'f**king lamp post' comment again..

Maybe it wasn't the best move for him to go to United but to those people saying he should wait so that he join PSG or whoever elsewhere, do people not get that he wants to stay in the Premier League?! Otherwise, he could gone abroad or waited for some offers from Italy, Spain etc..

Better finishing, better concentration, lesser mistakes against Stoke, WBA, West Ham etc would have put us further clear.....

Agent Mata failed again. That's 2 now.. On a more serious note, it's tragic that Mata isn't even being deployed in the right way to get the best out of him and has looked a shadow of his former self..

I was saying hypothetically if they win their 2 games in hand, which they should against Sunderland and Villa at home. We may have beaten them twice but they might just turn out to be a little better than us in getting those points against the lesser sides. That was the point. Don't necessarily disagree with that but we won't know if the pressure would affect them anyway. It could go either way..

That hope for United to get something against City was just that, hope. As for Arsenal, never mind their defensive problems, the fact that they look broken psychologically and having low morale, City could well just walk over them this Saturday!

The point is, we would drop points at some point in this run-in, one way or another. Points dropped over the course of the season against the lesser sides is probably gonna be what cost us in the end. City have done so themselves but they are probably just a tad more consistent than us in getting those points.

Find it funny that people would be blaming that Villa defeat if we were to lose the title in the end...

Eden Hazard has said that Samuel Eto'o believes that he can be one of the best players in the world. Well, that's an old thing being said again apparently but on facing PSG, Hazard said this... That last line..

Agent Mata has already completed 1 half of his job against Arsenal. Now to do get it fully done against City.

Indeed. Just wait for someone to suggest selling Matic.....

True but then again, it is always a risk when we take a proactive approach in pressing high up the pitch. If the opposition manages to bypass that pressure or someone switches off, then they'll have a clear run at our back 4. Hasn't happened a lot but it does happen here and there a little bit.

At this rate, let's just put everyone up on sale when they go out of form...

Eh, really? Judging by what Mourinho said a few times about not being happy with his performances, training etc (though I do really wonder how bad it is), looks as though he was willing enough to let De Bruyne go. Out of the 3 you mentioned there, the one that he wants to keep the most by the looks of it (at least for this season) was Mata rather than De Bruyne or even Essien.
