  1. Paul Parker must have gone to the same school of thought as Adrian Durham. Absolute garbage and pricks!
  2. Jeeez. What do you think I am? The press officer of TalkChelsea?
  3. Kinda disagree with that. I take your point about when one fullback goes forward, the other stays back to maintain a defensive solidity but I don't see why Azpi has to be a defensive minded fullback here. He and the other fullback can take turns to get forward like how we are doing now with him and Ivanovic and besides, fullbacks under Mourinho have mostly more defensive responsibilities than attacking one.
  4. Caughtoffside?! That alone is enough to say this story is a complete BS!!
  5. Seems like we have quite a few reporters here on TalkChelsea, haven't we? *sending in resume to Neil Ashton. must beat the competition*
  6. I know mate. Was just stating the fact (or point).
  7. Just thought of throwing this out here. Up to you lads on how you want to interpret it. In 50 games this season, Hazard has not played at all in 5 of them and in those 5 matches, we won all 5 and didn't concede once: 1. vs Steaua(A) - W 4-0 2. vs Swindon(A) - W 2-0 3. vs Schalke(H) - W 3-0 4. vs Arsenal(A) - W 2-0 5. vs Swansea(A) - W 1-0 In another 5 games of the 50, Hazard did not start but came off the bench: 1. vs Norwich(A) - W 3-1 [was 1-1 when he came on] 2. vs Basel(A) - L 1-0 [was 0-0 when he came on] 3. vs Sunderland(A) - L 2-1 [leading 1-0 when he came on] 4. vs Derby(A) - W 2-0 [leading 1-0 when he came on] 5. vs Stoke(H) - W 3-0 [leading 1-0 when he came on]
  8. Daily Mail Headline - 'Morgan Schneiderlin hints at move to Chelsea after praising Blues boss Jose Mourinho'...
  9. Don't think anyone were really saying that literally but rather, figuratively.
  10. Torres only scored 23 goals in all competitions last season but really though, that amount was greatly exaggerated by his number of goals in the Europa League (even if those did help us to win the competition). And let's not also forget that he literally didn't even score a SINGLE goal from end of December till the last game of the season in the league!
  11. That really couldn't be any more cringeworthy.
  12. Mario Pasalic to join Chelsea from Hajduk Split in £3m deal but forward expected to be sent out on loan by Jose Mourinho
  13. Well, that's the problem with Torres - hope. We always gotta hope he turns up in matches rather than expecting him to do so. Would not even bother playing him and hope he turns up in our biggest game of the season. It's a huge risk!
  14. Yeah...I'm sure if that turns out to be the case, the "I won't ever doubt him again" will only last till the next time something goes wrong next season...
  15. Guess there might be a lot of shift in votes or thoughts if we do win the league and/or Champions League from here...
  16. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1782764/disappointing-dull-chelsea-win-title?cc=4716 Things have sure gone well for City since Pellegrini said that...
  17. True and hopefully but his current Palace side aren't as good as his Stoke one.
  18. I know we are all excited already about our title chances and that game at Anfield next weekend (I am too) but let's make sure we get the job done against Sunderland first this weekend. Otherwise, all this talk will be rather pointless. Maybe so but the situation will be slightly different for them then and before. Palace were still fighting for their survival and needed the points when they played us. Now, they are already safe wih 40 points and may well take their eyes off the ball when Liverpool and City visit Selhurst Park.
  19. So, the permutations for the title are... Chelsea - Win last 4 games and we win the title. Liverpool - They can afford to win 3 and draw 1 OR win 2 and draw 2 (provided one of them is against us) and still win the title. that goal difference!
  20. Although City were hardly impressive, think Sunderland's performance against them should serve as a reminder for us against complacency on Sunday. Can't afford to take them lightly. Despite their rubbish results, they have generally done alright under Poyet against the big teams. Play the strongest team possible and get the job done.
  21. The Guardian are reporting the opposite.. Luke Shaw set to make decision on his future before the World Cup
  22. Hmmm. Was expecting better...
