  1. The biggest difference in Drogba and Lukaku, I feel, is that in a big game with Drogba, I felt zero worries upfront.. Now it is all I worry about in big games. Nothing emphasises that as much as the FA cup final vs. United.
  2. 30 goals in all competitions, improve our play against teams that sit back.
  3. Southampton would be a great loan for Broja actually, very in favour of this.
  4. I would play this before a game, we know he has a chip on his shoulder already about his name not spoken in the same light as Kane etc. Hopefully that plays to our advantage in terms of hunger and desire.
  5. I know opposition etc but Gilmour was fantastic in this game. Looking forward to watching Norwich this season, especially as Cantwell is back in the prem, great talent.
  6. I read that Inter will go into administration no matter how many players they sell.
  7. At the end of the day, they fucked their finances and if he wanted to stay, he could, for free. Yes, I understand that’s absurd, but so is Antoine salary and 800m debt. Simple. I hope we draw PSG, spectacle.
  8. Bottom line from me, I firmly believe that if any of our coaches over the last few years could improve a player, then I believe it’s Tuchel. Simple as that, he has improved the level of quite a number of players, whether that’s up one gear or two. It is what it is, and we have what we have.
  9. Sadly his brother is the benefactor of having someone successful in his family with money, nothing more, a hanger-on wannabe, good luck to him. Have an office and a suit, but let’s not kid ourselves to think he doesn’t draft in an actual football lawyer to do all the negotiating beyond “so, how much per week and how much agent fee/sign on?”
  10. Also despite how Pep talks about players, his most recent interview regarding Kane was literally tapping up.
  11. On the phone to the sheikh after this “this is why we need Kane”
  12. De Ligt, no fucking thank you, in any shape or capacity.
  13. Mendy’s injuries really have taken a toll haven’t they.
  14. Not sure where to put this but with Rom returning, do you guys think that we will show more patience in future? Or is that why the Baker’s of this world are still hanging around? Think of the players we’ve sold in recent years who have gone on to be class.
  15. Kalou had such good dribbling skills when he wanted to, seemed so disinterested so often.
  16. I haven’t seen anyone wish him anything but well, it’s just associated disappointed to our transfers this summer after the elation of the UCL. I think I can confidently say that we all wish him the very best, but we’ve gone from Haaland to Lukaku, no matter how improbable the first may have ever been.
  17. City getting dominated at the moment.
  18. Though, i am looking forward to him telling us what happened with the transfer when he almost joined us and went to United.
  19. I hope that’s the case. I’ll be first in line to say I was wrong.
  20. I did preface it with an eye roller, that said, I still disagree with the notion of downplaying his record and achievements with regard to trophies, again not that I am a fan of his; I’m so still shocked we forked out £97m, I would honestly have preferred a Tuchel statement to say “our only target wasn’t achievable, therefore we could not spend” would we have been placated with that? I sure would have been. a copy and paste from Twitter, they may we’ll be wrong if you’ve found a more reliable source.
  21. Disagree there, Spurs were incredibly attacking and United were woefully defensive. Note that I’m not in favour of this transfer, nor Rom’s biggest fan, that said I won’t be unfair to him either.
  22. I doubt he goes to R Madrid, look at their squad, it’s in disarray in terms of age and ability, their only saving grace is that Barcelona are fucked financially for the foreseeable. Plus, Mbappe is their reported target. I think it’s either City, if they don’t buy Kane, or United.
  23. Whilst it’s an eye roller, him winning trophies may help us in terms of mentality. Harry Kane, “World class” striker is 28 years has 240+ career goals LUKAKU, 28 years “the flop” has 320+ career goals LUKAKU “a flop” has proven himself in 3 Euro leagues and has 5 trophies to his name while the “world class” has none
  24. Surely just a cameo appearance, in prep for 15-20 minutes at Palace. Has he played any preseason games at all ?
