Movement isn’t in question for me, his runs are hardly ever spotted by our midfield. Though his finishing is just woeful, remains so, let’s see how the season progresses, but he’s going to need to get that 1v1 confidence back.

Sharp performance, felt sorry for Timo stop start runs for both our midfielders who seem incapable of playing the ball needed. In preseason I was concerned about Kova big time and he had a very very good performance today.

Is he ready? I don’t believe so, but let’s keep in mind he will be training with Lukaku, Werner, Kai.. literally every type of striker every single day. Great performance and obviously it’s brilliant for us to see academy players who get their head down get their rewards. Guehi, Livramento, Bate etc etc “no route to first team ffs”
