I'm onboard with not making signings due to being bullied on the price tag or loan obligations, that said, yes it should have wrapped up way earlier and thats on the board, it is what it is. I'd rather make no signings than set the tone as we are a club that can be pushed into a corner. Ultimately, the deal the same as Kova's suits us and it also suits the player coming in, irrespective if its Saul or not, Kova did the business or enough of to warrant a permanent transfer at X fee when the loan ended, pretty simple. If there is an obligation, there is less pressure on the player coming in to make an impact and just come for the ride, no thanks.

I'd say that this doesn't look anything like a Poch team, again as I said above, midfield is just a bit lost and poor really.

PSG midfield looks so basic, aside from some nice Verratti turns, I'd be confident if I were any team against them and they play a ridiculously high line as well.

+1 he looked lost and the pace just looked to be too much for him. Said earlier that the Bundesliga isn't all its cracked up to be, defensively, especially this season, its been shambolic. Not that he isn't a good player mind, just saying about the league itself recently.

Mount is frustrating and has been this season particularly, but so have other players too, have to be objective and fair about things. Most of our attackers have an issue when it comes to the 16 yard box, out of the options they often pick the wrong one or the less effective one. We've come so far under TT and ultimately, Mount specifically as its his thread, will learn to take those options ie. the pass for Kai in the UCL final is what I think of as soon as I recall the runs/photo linked above of the pass that needs to be played. So let's not pretend he isn't capable of playing those passes and doesn't, the issue at the moment is that he hasn't taken the opportunities to do so yet, but neither have a lot of other players.
