  1. Amazing, knew that experience was going to count.
  2. hehehe Liverpool will beat Sevilla in style.
  3. Came out of nowhere that goal. Let's hope Sevilla can now take the game in this second half.
  4. Liverpool will beat Sevilla in style in Europa League final, says Graeme Souness http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11669/10284948/liverpool-will-beat-sevilla-in-style-in-europa-league-final-says-graeme-souness Would be amazing if it's Sevilla that wins with style.
  5. Romelu Lukaku’s father predicts striker will leave Everton this summer Roger Lukaku says Premier League club want £65m to sell star striker • Bayern Munich or Manchester United said to be his preferred destination https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/18/romelu-lukaku-father-everton-leave-summer
  6. Good stuff. Terry should be transition to youth team coach after next season.
  7. Yes and Ivanovic did not perform for a while and still kept playing him.... So why your taking a double standard here?
  8. I think he will be like coutinho. Lost before he came to Liverpool. If he goes to Liverpool we will be kicking ourselves as to why we didn't went for him.
  9. I have friends that buy Chelsea jersey because of the look. They are not Chelsea fans but Arsenal, United and such. This is the good thing about our colors and jersey as to oppose ugly United, Arsenal and Liverpool jersey. And not to forget that blue tends to be a favorite color for a lot of people.
  10. Definitely was needed. As we need leaders in the dressing room and he is one. You could see the passion he had when playing against Spurs and the post-match interview. He is a winner, a leader and we need him in this dressing room. Now let next season be his last and then get him in the staff. He might be like Simeone. He has the passion, desire and has learned a lot from many managers. Now he will have an Italian tactician and that should help him as Italian are generally known for their great tactical view of the game.
  11. Manchester United on course to earn more than half a billion pounds in a year https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/13/manchester-united-earn-half-billion-pounds Truly amazing. Missing out on top 4 does not hurt them that much if they continue to get these kinds of figures. As well have a lot of buying power over most clubs. This is why United to me is the dream job for any manager.
  12. The problem is that when Chelsea started not giving in to the high prices we don't get out targets and our fans blast emanolo and the board for penny pinching.....
  13. Frank de Boer or Pellegrini might be a good move by Everton. We shall see what they do.
  14. Dislike this guy more and more. Rathers play Mikel then giving a younger player a chance.
  15. Ouch that must have hurt for the United fans and I'm loving it.
  16. Roma turn down Chelsea’s £23m bid for Radja Nainggolan Chelsea’s first offer of £23m plus bonuses rejected by Serie A club • Roma president James Pallotta wants at least £32m for midfielder http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/10/roma-turn-down-chelsea-bid-radja-nainggolan
  17. Atlético Madrid are a team made for suffering as title bid ends so close to line http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/may/09/atletico-madrid-team-suffering-title-bid-ends-levante-diego-simeone Interesting, and so true. Atletico are made to suffer and if the patterns hold they will suffer in the CL final as well...
  18. Yes but in this age of money cl is already a trophy in itself. Look at the difference it would be for us. Not in cl we can't attract as top players we would like to. Not to mention the money getting from being the CL. The money itself makes things like FA, capita one worthless as even they are trophy they don't pay as much. I rather be in the CL then win a capital one trophie. Again I'm not denying that not winning much in those years is justifiable but you still got to give credit for getting in cl all those times.
  19. No because the case we have fallen this season is due to we didn't spend right? And how much does Arsenal have been spending for all those years? Again if the whole down turn of this season is because we didn't spend that much then why don't you take that stick to measure Wenger as well? And yes not winning anything is by no mean justifiable but at least being consistent for so many years to get a top 4 is really good. I mean we used to also make fun of top 4 being a trophy but for us being out of the CL it sure feels like it now....
  20. You have to say one thing. As much as we make fun of Wenger and so does Mourinho he has never had a season like ours. The Special One could not do what the specialist in failure does, consistency in finishing top 4. And must of us agree that if we don't win anything but finishing in top 4 would be okay. Anything out of that would be catastrophe, like this season.
