  1. Despite all our inconsistency in the league I think we can beat Napoli and have a shot at winning the Champions League... I think all the talk about Madrid and Barca being the best in the world is over-hyped, and Chelsea along with Bayern can beat those two. Lampard's effect in the midfield is starting to reminisce his peak days and with Essien back we have a strong midfield along with Romeu, Meireles, and Ramires.. On-form Torres OR Drogba (they DO NOT work together, even Carlo justified that a few days ago, and I think we have to start making Torres our main man even when Didier returns from Africa) with Sturridge and Mata make a very progressive front line. With the recruitment of Cahill and some slaps in the face to JT and Luiz we should have a sold back line. I don't see why we can't beat the Spaniards, in fact, I believe we can beat Barcelona straight up.
  2. Great tactical foul by Carvalho
  3. i'd like to see pepe kick the shit out of messi or busquests like he did a few seasons ago to some player.... damm abidal just scored . 1-2 barca
  4. Lool i like bosi and im surprised by the criticism he gets
  5. I hope hes not just some player shitting all over us,, 80gs for what... Anyways i wonder who will warm the bench luiz or jt?
  6. its so good for him and for Chelsea that he's gone to Swansea... it seems like a great school and i bet he'll return to Chelsea as a world class player.
  7. AVB looked pissed when lamps scored.. Probably cuz he cant believe torres' luck its unbelievable.. But he shows more confidence in every game i believe our man is back on form and with essien i can see us winning 5 in a row and getting back into the title race, hopefully.
  8. Torres was great he really deserved that amazing goal... Great to see Essien back his presence and influence is so obvious on the pitch. I'm really happy to see those 1-0, 2-1 victories they're a good sign of a winning mentality.
  9. welcome back essien! we should make that push now
  10. Great vid! Hard work pays off, no doubt Torres' goals will come. Respect to Lamps he started the winner and he finished it.
  11. Well ppl argue it was intended racism, others say he didn't mean anything racist and it's a normal thing to say in his part of the world... What I know is Evra went and complained like a little child about something that happened on the pitch between 2 frustrated players in a derby were tensions run high... And everybody knows Evra is not the ideal role model for anyone.
  12. Avram who? Still don't know what the board/Roman were thinking when they appointed Grant Director of Football, resulting in beef with Jose, then appointing Avram head coach... It was a massive disappointment for Clarke and he didn't hesitate to leave when Zola gave him an offer. It's fair to say that season ended successfully on both fronts (nearly successfully) and it was all down to Clarke, not Grant. Still can't forget his 5 defenders at White Hart Lane unbelievable. Clarke was definitely let down by the club, and he made the right decision by leaving.
  13. I think u misunderstood me I meant that he doesn't fit into AVBs plans. And him not accepting the bench means he's gotta go. In my opinion he should have joined Inter a few seasons ago when they wanted him, we wouldn't have a midfield problem now.
  14. Gotta agree and respect that mate... but what about next season? AVB's rebuilding and Lamps is clearly not happy with being benched, don't u think that's gona get in the way of the team's progress? Besides his dip in form of course.
  15. He accepts the fact of being loaned out like Courtois... He even accepts playing in the reserves and just training with the team.. so why not
  16. Can't teach an old dog new tricks mate.... he's been playing his own straight-forward style at Chelsea for a decade which made him one of the best midfielders in the world with his 20+ goals a season. AVB is tasked with rebuilding the team but Lamps' style and his age get in the way of that unfortunately. You could imagine AVB snubbing him as a way of pushing him out of the club perhaps - I mean i wouldn't be surprised if he left this summer, and we've seen Jose do it with Raul instantly at Madrid. We have to admit his form has declined drastically and he even slows the play - i hope he keeps getting those goals as we saw yesterday but I don't think AVB would want to keep him past the summer.
  17. I wish u all a happy new year, I'm a fan from Lebanon, crazy about Chelsea, and from what I see this is a great forum. I've used another Chelsea forum (u maybe can guess it) but it's pretty boring. Hope to enjoy discussing Chelsea with u all. Cheers,
