Like I said, he would probably be best in a 4-3-3 with some creative freedom. Same with Josh. If KDB and Josh develop into the players we think they can become, we'd have an incredible midfield and team in general. For a 4-3-3: CM/AM: McEachran, Oscar, KDB DM: Romeu, Mikel LW/RW: Hazard, Mata, Marin, Moses ----------------------------Romeu-------------------------- -------------Josh/KDB--------------Oscar--------------- --Moses/Hazard-----New Striker------Mata/Marin- Crazy good
-
In a 4-3-3, sure but not in the double pivot where you need to be preferably physical and need to defend.
-
Shame it appears this won't be broadcasted on TV.
-
I'd have him back as early as possible and finally let him create his dynasty like Ferguson has done with ManUre.
-
Even if Frank is 33 and declining he'd be a massive addition to the MLS. You're all forgetting how mediocre that league still is.
-
He's not suited to that position. Just like Oscar.
-
If he wants to play regularly and as a result hinder the team, he should leave. No one is bigger than the club. Not even Frank.
-
Cannot wait until he leaves so we can get a real Striker and move on with our title challenge (if its still in tact by January). I used to be such a stubborn supporter of his but there is no longer any reason to close my eyes to the truth (like many still do). Those stats that someone posted, about Torres being the 2nd worst striker in terms of Goals per game in the entire league, is petrifying. How did we let it get to this stage? How is he still playing for a top club? Strikers from Wigan, Norwich, Swansea etc are scoring at a better rate than Torres. There is literally no way someone can defend him. We have had Hazard, Mata and recently Oscar ready to supply him. If he hasn't got the service from them its because he doesn't make many good runs and stands around lazily expecting the ball to hit his foot and fly 20 yards into the net. When he does get a chance, he fluffs it, as seen against Stoke. He won't score much more than an occasional goal. He may score a goal or two in the next few games and the Torres fans will start saying "We told you" and "He's back!" (Things I used to say and think) but then the goals will dry up again...A Falcao or a Cavani and we could rip teams apart. We have no reliable or good focus point. I will always remember his goal against Barcelona. Always. Undoubtedly his greatest moment in a Chelsea shirt. However now its just a countdown until he leaves and we as a club can move on from this long drawn out nightmare. Unfortunately he will go down as the biggest flop ever. I have nothing against Nando personally. I hope he can return to Atletico and have a wonderful end to his career there, as he deserves. It would be nice to see for football fans the world over. However, his time here is all but over.

So, a 4-3-3/4-2-1-3? ----------------------Cech-------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -Azpi------Ivanovic--Cahill----Bertrand- -------------------------------------------------- -----------Romeu-------Ramires---------- --------------------Piazon-------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------Moses-----Sturridge----Marin------ Looks very good to me
-
The suicidal ones, yes.
-
I don't think anyone wants to see that.
-
No need to rest Oscar, I think. I doubt he'd play against Le Arse. We'll have one defensive winger in the game.
-
New striker needed - but who?

Benzema would be fantastic if he wanted to leave (Don't see why he would want to). -
He'll probably be on loan for 2 years and end up being sold.
-
What? What a random answer.
-
Oscar is not better than Mata. You're Brazillian so you can't see that. Silva is not better than Mata. Silva had a great half season and then has been merely decent ever since. He has become very overrated due to those great 4-5 months.
-
No he isn't. Not yet. Mata is a very good player and as good as Silva, easily.
-
Morons need a nice king hit to the face...

John Terry retires from England duty

Good for us and for him. Shouldn't listen to other jealous fans' crap. Let them struggle without him. Now they're stuck with that horrible Rio. At least Cahill is great and will carry that defense now. -
This game was a test for Arsenal. They passed. Next week will be our test. Let's see how we go.
-
Nice Dropped Points for both of them
-
Yes! 1-1
-
Arsenal have actually looked Impressive. They look like they will be hard to beat next week. Is it just me or has Silva had 5-6 great months then the rest of his time at City been average? I don't see how he is Better than Mata. Anyway, set pieces will always be a weakness of Arsenal. Counter attacking it is next week as Arsenal control the centre so well. In that case it would be a very good move if Moses starts, since we aren't ready to outplay them in the middle. Moses will give Arsenal troubles out wide. City look like they can't deal with Cazorla type players. It would be interesting to see how the would cope with Mata, Hazard and Oscar. To be fair though they look a bit lacklustre and look like they have another gear to go to. Seeing Le Arse play well has got me excited and anxious about next week's game.

This reminds me of the Mentality of last season. Didn't our Champions League win teach you anything...?
-
Pessimistic are we? I don't think we were as bad as our league position showed last season. I think we can really push for the title. A Striker in January and we will really be in the thick of it.
