8 out of 10 times when Sturridge gets the ball anywhere near the box, he will shoot, only 2 out of 10 times will it be on target. The remaining times he will pass and out of that 8 times out of 10 it will be a shit pass. Basically anytime Sturridge gets the ball don't expect much, if Anything.

Messi is slightly overrated, and CR7 is slightly underrated, having said that Messi is still the best player on earth, but the difference between him and CR7 is not miles or Night and Day as some idiots think. In any other time we would be calling CR7 the best of all time, although he still is one of the Greatest players ever IMO, truly incredible Player.

To my knowledge Barca do think of us as Rivals as much as we do them, we're perhaps their second biggest rivalry behind Madrid. They have had epic battles with us in the past, and apperently they respect us alot. Make no mistakes, this is a 2 way street, yes perhaps we hate them more but that's only because we're in the position we're in now. WHEN we climb back to the top Barca will be much more scared of us and the Barca-Chelsea rivalry will be back to where it was 2+ years ago

I think we should look domestically first before looking overseas. Don't get me wrong, I think there are alot of world class players overseas ( gotze, Hazard, Cavani etc) but we may not make the top 4 and even so we may not attract the top eschalon of players because we are not the same as before. There are some players in the EPL worth looking at, and they would be reasonably cheap. Some here will think no real world class talents come from shitty teams in the EPL, which I used to agree with, but just look at the likes of Tevez and Lampard, both who came from West Ham. There are options like Cabaye, Hoilett, Victor Moses etc They could be good players for us.

Yeah I feel the same way, I was all for getting rid of Mikel but he really has become a better player. He is not world class but generally he is very solid and completes his role well ( something sturridge needs to learn to do).

I like that lineup, that's what I'd go with (Maybe Romeu instead of Mikel) and Mata can be on the bench just in case

They weren't saying Kalou, they were booing him for sure, because he had elected to shoot instead of cross it to Torres for a possible shot on goal. it was a bit harsh but at the same time can you blame them? Great Strike from Torres, although he should have got at least another goal, but he's becoming involved heavily in our scoring which is a good start.
