Cavani will fit us better than Falcao will fit Citeh. It'll be very even between them. If we got Rooney too though then that would put us distinctly at the top.

We're getting Schurrle for that apparently, which is why I chose Rooney. Our defense is solid and just needs help from the midfield which De Rossi should be able to help with (Also with Essien maybe coming back?). Vidal was actually my first choice but don't know if he'd leave Juve. From there it's about adding enough firepower to win the title like City and United did in the last 2 seasons. 4 strikers (2 world class and 2 pretty good) is what we should have, considering Rooney's versatility. Also on second thought, De Rossi shouldn't cost anymore than £15 million so we can put in £45 million for Cavani or £30 million for Rooney if needed.

Fair enough. Care to throw in your two cents? When you've got £100 million, Roman Abramovich and Jose Mourinho, being realistic goes out the window.

To be fair, both teams will probably put out a second string lineup. So it's fine. Although the extra Travel remains...unless we just leave a few key players out completely. Mazacar should be completely left out to rest.

Like ZOS said. Who would you prefer? Silva and Iso or Mata and Hazard? Exactly. Throw in Oscar as well. Silva is not on Mata's level because when the team doesn't play well, he doesn't either i.e. He does not have the skill to carry a team whereas Mata can. Silva is overrated and although he may get better next season, I doubt he'll ever hit the heights of his first six months in City's title winning season let alone Mata's heights this season.

Mourinho must be over the moon. Moyes? Pellegrini? Jose knows he can dominate the league for years if that's who he's up against. We've got the squad with the most potential and raw talent as well.

I don't know. I don't really want these 'Budget buy' type of Strikers. We did that with Ba and although he's pretty good, he's not a game changer. Plus. We already have a young up and comer in Lukaku. I don't think we need more direct competition for him. Buy Cavani/Falcao/Rooney.They are in their prime and top class.

Lukaku is coming on in leaps and bounds. He should be 100% ready in a couple of seasons to become a starter at Chelsea.

There's no need for news. People, please use some common sense. A Hamstring injury will keep you out for a few weeks. The Europa League final is in a few days. Put 2 and 2 together. That's pretty much his season done. If he does play in the EL final he'd be unfit and only playing because we are desperate.
