Try to get Modric and/or Bale. Couldn't hurt. 25 million+ Meireles/Essien for Modric and 27+ Malouda for Bale. Of course it won't happen as we aren't smart enough.

Everytime I hear Jovetic being linked to Chelsea, I instinctively think "Meh...". Good player but I'm not too impressed...yet.

I would take Bale in a heart beat. We could be unstoppable with Bale/Hazard on the wings. However, can't see him leaving Spurs for us. Plus he would probably have to play on the right flank at Chelsea.

Actually Xabi Alonso would be 'perfect'. However Martinez is the next best thing. He could become better even than Xabi down the track.

Yep, real shortage of top quality, traditional wingers. I would love one on the right flank instead of Hulk. Hazard will drift around and Hulk may cut in so we won't have alot of width again.

Kalou is better than Downing...Not by much though. He has his moments but Kalou will never be anything but an Average player. I've said this many times but work rate doesn't make up for being average, especially at a top club. Even Liverpool have let Kuyt go.
