  1. Yes but the point is with creativity and passes in behind (just like at Livershit) he can be deadly. Also he won the Golden Boot and only played about 60-80 (?) Minutes. So he can be a big goalscorer this season.
  2. It seems he could even become our starting right back. It would leave Ivanovic and Cahill/Luiz as CB cover and Ivanovic could always play RB when a more defensive option is needed.
  3. Difference is Torres is a 'has-been'. Kalou is a 'never was'. All of you bagging Torres will be silenced when he starts scoring in the upcoming season. As we saw he has gone from Strength to Strength since the 2nd half of the season. As we again saw in the Euros with the Golden Boot. With creativity and passes in behind Torres (Hazard, Mata, Marin, Possibly Modric) he can be the Torres of old again.
  4. Yes! Seems like this rumour is picking up steam. I thought it was another baseless rumour but looks like it is actually true
  5. Well I doubt we'll be using Josh. To be honest I think we're ruining him. He needs to go on loan and get playing time ASAP.
  6. They've been saying that the entire tournament...I think he's learnt how to contain himself in the big games and the big moments.
  7. ^ Against weaker teams Maicon would play on the right.
  8. It's obviously bullshit. They would much rather Theo Walcott for £45 million.
  9. I somewhat agree with Sloth. There was no real need to merge the threads.
  10. Doubt we could get him. I think he'll be playing for Milan in 2 years time.
  11. Well that's good and all but he may get limited opportunites to play if we get a RW i.e Hulk
  12. Same but I don't think he'd be content with being 4th/5th choice.
  13. Yep, it would mean selling Yossi, Essien and Meireles. Lampard would be used less too.
  14. They have Nasri, Aguero and Silva as well. Anyway I dislike the name of this thread as I hate Man Citeh.
  15. That makes no sense. Torres has at least played, whereas Llorente hasn't seen a single minute of gametime. So, wouldn't it mean Llorente was taken to make up the numbers?
  16. I think he'll be the best player in the PL within 3 years.
  17. Any more news? I really want this deal to happen It makes tons of sense. People who want Debuchy need to snap out of their delusions. He won't come here to be 2nd choice. I prefer Maicon over Debuchy anyway. Edit: Here is an analysis of Maicon and what he can bring to Chelsea. I agree with the article, Maicon could redsicover his old self and secure that RB spot leaving Ivanovic free for cover. http://mobile.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/6/30/3128604/on-why-maicon-would-be-a-good-fit-for-chelsea
