  1. I would've preferred Maicon but that deal looks dead now. Hopefully something can be resolved before the CS.
  2. Looks like he's been charged. Will be interesting if some United fans try to defend him.
  3. Some people have even changed their nationality to Brazilian.
  4. The thing that impresses me the most is his end product. How many times do you see players get into good positions and waste it, it's what separates the good players from the quality players. Oh, and he's only 20.
  5. I would like to know his pass success rate from that match, only saw him give the ball away once or twice.
  6. Imagine if we didn't win the UCL. We would probably be looking at signings like Moses and Danny Simpson, along with Marin who already signed.
  7. I couldn't disagree more with this. 1. There is a limited supply of players like Modric; only a handful you could say are better or as good. 2. I would jump at the chance to get him for £35m. 3. When you are talking about a player in the role Modric plays (DLP, Regista) or whatever you want to call it, age is irrelevant to a certain extent. He could still be on the top of his game at 33-35. 4. I'm also happy with Oscar but if I had the choice of the two it would be Modric Anyway, is it wrong that it pleases me to see AVB getting a rough time from the get go?
  8. Was interesting to see Josh McEachran against better opposition, allbeit for a short amount of time. He is the same age as Marco Verratti and Verratti is lightyears ahead of him at this stage in his career. He ran the show all night for PSG, classy player for a bargain price.
  9. Woah, so that team was wrong. Unreliable Twitter zzz
  10. Cech, Ferreira, David Luiz, Cahill, Ivanovic; Lampard, Obi Mikel; Marin, Hazard, Ramires; Lukaku."
  11. Very strong. Hopefully we field a strong team to then a mixture of youth and experience for MLS All-Stars.
  12. PSG-Chelsea-Remplacants : Bisevac, Tiene, Camara, Luyindula, Hoarau, Lugano, Areola, Maxwell, Verratti, Rabiot, Le Crom.
  13. PSG-Chelsea-Compo : Douchez, Sakho, Alex, Jallet, Armand, Bodmer, Chantome, Pastore, Nene, Lavezzi, Gameiro.
  14. From Di Matteo's interview on Hazard he said something along the lines of, 'Last season we only had Juan who could play in that position (CAM), with Eden we have more options'. All of the 3 behind Torres will be interchanging throughout the season but I think Hazard will predominantly play from the left.
  15. The club gave Hazard permission to reveal which club he was joining then was told to keep his mouth shut until an official announcement was made.
  16. He's probably been told to keep his mouth shut for the time being like Hazard was, until an official announcement.
  17. I'm just hoping that Cech starts.
  18. Keeping him would be a terrible decision. At his age he needs to be playing regularly at a decent enough level. There's only so much he can learn training with the Chelsea first team and getting the odd game here and there. Look at Sturridge a few years ago, was hardly getting a look in. A few cameo displays in the cups and a ton of reserve games. At Bolton he was by far their best player and came back to Chelsea in great form. Only when AVB left he started to fade. Look at Wilshere at Bolton, it catapulted him straight into the Arsenal first team. Danny Welbeck enjoyed a good loan spell at Sunderland, look at him now. There's probably many more examples. Last season for Lukaku was a year for him to settle in the club and get used to his surroundings. This season he must go on loan and play regularly. I would say he needs 2 loan moves before he can really be challenging for a first team spot at Chelsea.
  19. Eden already planning his excuses for a future move to Madrid!
  20. Marin touches: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTCr7vWCnH8
  21. I say all, I remember him on the ball more than that. Most* touches.
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHJr_g0uZ4U All his touches for anyone who didn't watch (Don't know if zoomed).
  23. There's no harm in stating whether a player played well or not. Seems you're the one overreacting. "Pre-season matches are all about fitness, the games themselves are meaningless and players' individual performances are pretty close to that." I'm sure the likes of Lukaku, McEachran, Kevin De Bruyne, and others will disagree.
