  1. So why bring up that Spain didn't take their best players as an excuse, if to you it's a minor tournament?
  2. Where did I say the competition was good? You said it was poor and I agreed with you on paper, but said they are better than you give them credit for. Why would Spain bring players who only weeks before were heavily involved in the nations success in the Euros? Don't be ridiculous. Did you expect Team GB to bring Rooney, Gerrard, and Ashley Cole? Sorry but your point about Brighton isn't worth replying to, stop exaggerating everything and putting words in my mouth.
  3. Spain left their best players at home, really? Other than Thiago (who is injured), who are these 'best players' they didn't bring? Egypt and Korea are arguably better than Mexico. On paper with the teams involved it look weak, yes. But they are better than you give them credit for. If these teams were so poor why have some of the supposed best players looked so average. Cavani was almost non-existent, Hulk has looked mediocre, Mata, Javi Martinez, Sturridge etc. Only a handfall of players have been really impressive, in particular Marcelo, Romulo, and Neymar.
  4. He didn't reject United. They hadn't even had an offer accepted. It was a choice of PSG or staying at Sao Paulo.
  5. If you want a good laugh go on here a check out some of the comments at the bottom: http://www1.skysport...e-on-Lucas-deal A good one .. "aj says August 5, 2012 4:08pm Mate get on you tube and check this guy out, fergie wouldnt put in that sort of cash for a half decent kid, Lucas Moura is a phenomenal talent if you get him he could take the league by storm like ronaldo did. 30 million is a bargain"
  6. 'Valencia to rotate' .. He's one of the first players on the United team sheet if you ask me.
  7. De Bruyne scoring a tidy penalty just then!
  8. gunnersopinion.com ‏@gunnersopinion I hate watching Brazil at the Olympics just because I have to watch Oscar play so well in the knowledge he's off to Chelsea. Hehe
  9. No real surprise he's a sub. They've only been having a two day rest between games, and they've already qualified. I don't think he'll come on, if anyone will it most likely will be Ganso.
  10. Well it would appear you are making some false accusations then.
  11. I would've preferred Maicon but that deal looks dead now. Hopefully something can be resolved before the CS.
  12. Looks like he's been charged. Will be interesting if some United fans try to defend him.
  13. Some people have even changed their nationality to Brazilian.
  14. The thing that impresses me the most is his end product. How many times do you see players get into good positions and waste it, it's what separates the good players from the quality players. Oh, and he's only 20.
  15. Neither club deals in Euros?
  16. I would like to know his pass success rate from that match, only saw him give the ball away once or twice.
  17. Imagine if we didn't win the UCL. We would probably be looking at signings like Moses and Danny Simpson, along with Marin who already signed.
  18. I couldn't disagree more with this. 1. There is a limited supply of players like Modric; only a handful you could say are better or as good. 2. I would jump at the chance to get him for £35m. 3. When you are talking about a player in the role Modric plays (DLP, Regista) or whatever you want to call it, age is irrelevant to a certain extent. He could still be on the top of his game at 33-35. 4. I'm also happy with Oscar but if I had the choice of the two it would be Modric Anyway, is it wrong that it pleases me to see AVB getting a rough time from the get go?
  19. Was interesting to see Josh McEachran against better opposition, allbeit for a short amount of time. He is the same age as Marco Verratti and Verratti is lightyears ahead of him at this stage in his career. He ran the show all night for PSG, classy player for a bargain price.
  20. Woah, so that team was wrong. Unreliable Twitter zzz
  21. Cech, Ferreira, David Luiz, Cahill, Ivanovic; Lampard, Obi Mikel; Marin, Hazard, Ramires; Lukaku."
  22. Very strong. Hopefully we field a strong team to then a mixture of youth and experience for MLS All-Stars.
  23. PSG-Chelsea-Remplacants : Bisevac, Tiene, Camara, Luyindula, Hoarau, Lugano, Areola, Maxwell, Verratti, Rabiot, Le Crom.
  24. PSG-Chelsea-Compo : Douchez, Sakho, Alex, Jallet, Armand, Bodmer, Chantome, Pastore, Nene, Lavezzi, Gameiro.
