Not a bad shout but Areola has done some pretty dumb shit whilst playing for Fulham.

He was on a mad one last night. Fair play, he is proving me wrong with his recent run of form but he is always one antic away from confirming clown status. Fingers crossed he keeps this up.

When it clicks in the attacking third, we will be a serious problem for any team in Europe. When watching tonight's game, I was thinking a player like Felix would have been far more decisive if playing for us. He would have used that space properly. It feels as if the players who we do have aren't confident enough to really do what they want to do in that attacking third. There were glimpses of Ziyech coming out of his shell in the second half. Hopefully that goal will kick-start a run of form.

It was a close one for the MotM award between Rudieger and Kante but Kante just pipped it for me. Superb performance from the boys. You can't help but feel a little frustrated with the wasted attacking opportunities but the ot was a great win.

Great result. Bet we get Liverool in the next round.

100% got away with one. Carrasco was looking for it but Azpi gave them an excuse to award a pen. Shocking decision making from our captain.

It's important to note just how good Kante has been in that half. He makes it look effortless but he has completely dominated Felix and Koke.

Ziyech has been awful all half except from the goal and even that finish was shit.. he got away with one there. Oh well. Good half defensively and we have controlled it but we really need to sort out the attack.

It would be extremely naieve of you to think an attack of Suarez, Felix and Curassco 'won't do shit' given the chance. That attack should not be taken lightly.

I know its only headline sensationalism but talks of him quitting the club early are already surfacing... if the club were to perform a miracle and pull off the transfer of Haaland, I wouldn't be surprised if he looked at leaving.
