You're right.. he was predictable in everything he did but I think that is down to confidence. The good sign is he made a difference and thats a start.

No way do we exaggerate. Tammy misses absolute sitters time and time again. If he had put away some of the chances in the first half... we would have won that game. The fact that people let him get away with it still is beyond me. We need a killer uptop... this is Chelsea FC not some mid table club who should be happy with a player who can bag 1 in 4 chances and does nothing else.. because most of the time Tammy literally does nothing else. Messi and Lewa are elite players in their all around game.

I'm going to defend Frank after giving it much thought and watching the game again. We started very sharply against WB with quick interchanging movement. The individual mistakes were not Franks doing. Yes you can put the lineup on him, like why did Alonso start over Emerson and Mount should have started in midfield for me with Odoi on the LW. He obviously wanted to see what Wernee was like on the wing where he played for RB Leipzig before. It didn't work out yesterday. If those individual errors didn't occur then we would have won the game comfortably. We definitely need to see continuity on his team selection but it hasn't been easy with the endless injuries to players in key positions. He is also trying to get everyone fit as rotation is going to be pivotal in a chaotic fixture list that will test the endurance of any squad in English football. I think we will see all the big teams have wobbles this season, given the lack of pre-season and from the sheer amount of games to be played. Going back to the game though, I really felt asif we were attacking more fluidly before he changed the formation and everybody decided to stand still for 40 minutes or so.. although I think that was down to fatigue more than anything. There is still alot to come from Frank but there is no doubt he needs to settle the back 4 with Mendy in goal and then choose a midfield that can deal with the transition defensively but still be mobile enough to counter the press. Once he does that, the attack doesn't need much thinking... we are already banging enough goals in.

Classy performance. When he gets up to full speed in the PL... he is going to boss games.

After watching back individual performances and the match highlights, it's incredible the number of good deliveries into the box by Odoi and James that were not attacked once. If we had Giroud on... we would have scored 6 goals minimum. It's criminal how a man the height of Tammy is not getting his noggin on the end of these crosses. He isn't even standing anywhere near the line of the ball, ever!

Tammy, Werner and Giroud were basically tied together in the center bumbling over each other. It was like watching a 6 legged race you see your Dads dow with his brothers drunk at a family get together.

Never thought I would see myself saying this.... but Declan Rice would completely transform our team. He would make us a more solid in transition when losing the ball in attack and when sitting back.

I'm the ultimate knee jerk reactionary fan in game because emotions run high and I love watching this club through thick and thin. I don't know why people are soo judgemental of that? That's what football is about no?
