He had enough chances to score six goals himself last night, Nords were a bit of a joke in defense - I think even Wolves were better organized.

WTF is going on?

Asked whether there was too much pressure on Torres, rather than his team-mates, Hasselbaink said: "I think you have to look at yourself first. "Ask 'am I doing everything possible to score goals?' and then go from there." Hasselbaink told BBC Radio 5 live: "There comes a stage when you have to take responsibility for your own future."

AVB did but he was sacked shortly after comparing Torres to Kezman and Sheva.
-
"He scored a lot of goals in training today. He is a great player and if he is the right positions they will play with him and if he's not they won't. "It's not just scoring goals. If you analyse the corners (against us) he was amazing, two or three times clearing the ball. He was helping the team defend. But as a striker you want him to score goals." Rafa was the one who impregnated Torres it seems, it's rainbows, unicorns and flowers spewing out of Torres's butt for Rafa at the moment

At the end of the day it depends on the team,” said the Blues' 'interim' manager. “So maybe some players can show character, but if you have one or two players that are not playing at the level then the team will suffer. “I think in the second half we had this situation. So we needed to change players, and you could see that we were a little bit more comfortable in possession, but still we weren't controlling he first ball, second ball – for them that was important.” Benitez has said that the team needs to help Torres – who has played every minute of first team football since the 'interim' manager's arrival, but is yet to find the back of the net. Benitez said he was angry after the defeat on Saturday, at that he let Chelsea's players know how he felt. “Normally when you lose a game you are not happy. Yes (I was angry). I think they know that this is not the ideal situation, and they know that if I am here it because something was wrong. "So it was too many games in the last two months that the team was not at the level that was expected.”

Torres gets taken off - throws a strop RdM drops him one game - gets the sack I very much doubt RdM was happy with two strikers at the start of this season, I very much doubt he was happy to play Torres so much. But he didn't have a choice. He never had the backing of the board or Roman who were reluctant to give him a long term contract in the first place. If he was assured in his place within the club - I doubt we would be in such a mess right now. And kindly stop saying anything about Service concerning Torres, there is plenty of service to be had in this squad if we had a capable striker instead of being forced to accommodate this passenger we would have far better results. For the record I think there is a 1% chance of signing Falcao in the winter

1) Free Header at the end of the match 2) Free shot inside the box after Hazard's shot 3) Skied shot after Ramires gave him the ball instead of playing in Ivanovic 4) And there was a weak shot I think before that from a good position You give these four chances to anyone else at least ONE goal would have been scored. Torres was the one demanded to be automatic striker after the Champions League Title - so now it's absolutely fair to blame him and whoever is forcing managers hands to play him 90 minutes every match. If today is a good performance because of one cut back than we have low standards.
-
Why the hell was he subbed - move him up top and play him 90 minutes our most dangerous player
-
I'm only 26 year old, but I doubt even than we have had players so disinterested in wearing the Blue Kit
-
I've never been more embarrassed by our team. Only Moses and Cesar deserve any credit after this performance
-
TORRES, EVEN FUCKING CARLTON COLE IS BETTER THAN YOU
-
Moses and Ramires I think have been our two most dangerous players this first half. Cesar is doing fabulously on the right flank but gotta admit that West Ham haven't really been threatening on the flanks. But this is still a good score for West Ham, we should have really scored a second goal
-
Fantastic skills by Moses, Mata should have scored a second goal
-
Rafa stating the obvious about Rotation but at the same time it's not like RdM was the one who decided to play Torres so much, that much is obvious.
-
It would be good for Oscar and Hazard to possibly be on the bench for this game, seems both are in a need of a rest - gotta remember these two are still young. We need to give them enough time to remain fresh.

Interesting statistics, he is probably the most consistent young striker in Europe Here is his statistics since arriving: 2012/13: 320 minutes - 160 minutes per goal - 23 year old 2011/12: 3061 minutes - 235 minutes per goal - 22 year old 2010/11: 535 minutes - 133 minutes per goal - 21 year old 2009/10: 612 minutes - 122 minutes per goal - 20 year old Bolton: 2010/11: 976 minutes - 122 minutes per goal
-
I'm tired of the double pivot nonsense ----------------Mikel/Romeu------------- Ramires/Oscar----------Lampard/Mata We should revert back to 4-3-3
-

It's his special training regime - making himself useful to Rafa
-
He is paid 170k p/w, fans support him on the ground, managers pick him as an automatic starter. Do you think he gives a shit about what people on a forum are saying. He is shite, the sooner Roman realizes this - the better it would be for Chelsea FC, people can go setup the Torres FC Forum and talk about how great his hair is there.
