I know this will be shot down by people, but to me it has shown what has always been the case in his career - if the decks aren't completely stacked in his favour, he struggles. He is a great manager, clearly. His style of play limits the odds of poor results, and propensity for bad games.

If Nkunku and Mudryk end up leaving, I'd love him here. Terrific footballer. Big, strong, fast and hard to get the ball off him. He'd be great as another striker option or on the left. Either/or works fine.

I think Sancho just about deserves to be a full time locked in starter out there on his wing. He provides that pressure release valve much like Hazard use to in a way - where he will get the ball at times with 4 or so players in proximity and it doesn't look good, but he weaves his way around and lets us retain possession and start an attack with the other team somewhat out of position and scrambling. With the ball at his feet, he is the player in my opinion the ball feels safest with. His close control is insane.
