If we have a Rogers on one wing and Cole on the other - or just goal scorers around the "striker" then we can get away with the Jackson/Delap type - ala Liverpool with Firmino. Saying that though - I think Delap on a better team becomes a decent goal scorer. From watching him he has nice technique with his striking and isn't afraid to crack it.

Not getting Dortmund vibes at all. People here are just spoilt and think rebuild means it happens in one or two years as we've previously been doing. Reality is it took City and a few other teams a few years to get it done. We were the most rapid and brutal with the way we did things - and in turn we were also the most up and down with success. I think they're trying to create an even deeper and more entrenched version of City - filtering youth into the top team and continuing the cycle for constant success and title challenges - on top of all that selling the young players for profit.

Rogers would be great business. Can play either wing, LW being helpful for us, and feel he has potential to even fill in at CF when needed. Best mates with Cole as well from the looks of things. I really don't think Sesko, Gyokeres, Osimhen or anyone bar Isak are world class and surefire locks to bang in goals in the PL. So I think getting someone like Delap as competition for CF is fine and seeing how he pans out. 40 mil or whatever it is really isn't breaking the bank, and can move him on if he doesn't turn into what is expected. Rodrygo would be great, but I'd be chuffed with Rogers. Left hand side with Cucu and Rogers (with Felix/Noni as backup?) sorted. Right with Neto/Estevao and James/Gusto sorted. Cole in the middle. Delap/Jackson partnership I think would do okay and can always look to upgrade. Our midfield is set for years. Just need to focus on CB's from there.

Felix is fine as a back up option and cup games. He can make impact on games, but for 50 mil, better to move him on and try and recoup.

Eh - I just don't think he will be the impact player he is in the PL.

Wirtz seems like a nice enough player - but definitely not the crazy money that is getting talked about. Rodrygo, a decent striker and just one good CB is what we need. Simple business. Get rid of Disasi, Nkunku, Badi, Fofana, Mudryk, Sancho and Chillwell.

We really don't need any more creative, build up type players/strikers. Get someone who can finish. Cole is sitting at top of chances created, and Enzo is somewhere up there too. Just get someone who can put them in the fucking net.

Neto and Estevao on the right is sorted IMO. Cole and Estevao playing the 10 role. Jackson and a top tier striker will sort us. I think our midfield is set between Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia, Santos and Essugo. Between Gusto, James and Acheampong - I think we're good at RB. LB probably need a back up for Cucu. CB needs work and keeper. Basically we need a top striker, a decent LW, a CB and a keeper. LB can find someone in the academy to bring up and makeshift Gusto when Cucu needs a break. Rodrygo, Osimhen and Murilo.

Believe with me. Its fucking NF. If we can't beat them, we don't deserve it. Lads will step up.

I'm against buying from the Bundesliga... Their players usually come over and flop for the most part. Struggle with physicality and space in EPL. Didn't use to be the case, and was actually the one league that would translate well, but seems to have changed over the last 5+ years. Hugo has a nice highlight reel but feel he would offer similar to Jackson. The more and more time goes on, the more I'm inclined to lean to Osimhen. Gives us physicality and aerial threat. And hes the type to just blast at goal instead of try and walk it in which we are guilty of at times.

I think Ange is a good manager. Having players constantly out and no continuity is a big reason for lack of league success. Very similar to when Poch was chop and changing for us. Then he stuck with the same team and we went on a run.

I know he is a common name synonymous with danger for us - but we have won 5 of the last 6 with him i believe.

How reliable are they?

I actually think Cunha is a great buy. Like you said those two with Bruno would make them very dangerous. I know people talk about lots of deadwood and what not, but us and a few others are really only a few moves away from proper competing. It doesn't take much. For as much as we complain, and we have been god awful for a while now, we're right there with Arsenal, City and Newcastle this season. And we think we've been shit. Despite the ups and downs, I do generally believe our trajectory is upwards unlike a lot here. If we sort out the right transfers this season we could be very dangerous next season.

I think Gyokeres, Sesko and Osimhen will all underwhelm, but that is just me. I think Osimhen is the best choice of those 3. Isak is the only real world class CF.

Osimhen for 50-70 mil I'd be fine with. Watched some videos with data on him, and if we're going to continue to struggle against a low block, I actually think he is a good fit. Really good in the air and can bail us out of shit games like the one today. Get him in. Then we have him and Jackson/anyone else they bring on board if Jackson leaves.
