  1. You have a comment on just about every player from every league. You don't watch all of it, you don't know all of them, and yet you attempt to blast people that suggest otherwise to your opinion when its blatantly obvious you've seen a few youtube clips as evidence and read a few articles.
  2. Have you seen Lucas play? No. Neymar? No. Hazard? I'm leaning to no again. Gotze? Maybe a game or two and you formed a slight preference. Why pretend like you know the ins and outs of their games, when its blatantly obvious you haven't watched all of them lace it up and hit the pitch?
  3. That team would be great if you want to get bullied by every midfield in the country. There is no physical presence in that team in the middle of the ground. Mata gets pushed off the ball every time by Toure whenever we play City. We need to have someone who is an enforcer in there. Not just one, but maybe two players. Another thing, why are people so intent on getting rid of Ramires in the starting squad? He's been our best, or second best player all season. He adds pace and drive to our team.
  4. Why are we done exactly? Another team apart from Manchester United won the premier league; oh no. All that money and they won by goal difference. Why exactly can't we catch them? I'm confident in us bouncing back and Chelsea being the team over the coming years to challenge City.
  5. I think Dzeko having a bad season is overblown. He hasn't been in favor despite being better than Balo, and yet he still slots goals and sets up in the limited time he gets. Not to mention when he's not scoring he's still been apart of beautiful link up play and his technique on the ball has improved greatly to the point it's an extreme strength. The moves with his back to his defender to get past them are very Drogba like. I think we'll be missing out on a great player if we don't inquire about him at the least.
  6. Dzeko is so far and away better than Higuain it's not funny. Falcao and Dzeko are the only players I'd be interested in pursuing up front. They fit the mold of players that succeed here in Chelsea. We tried these counter attacking players that work off runs and through balls, but it hasn't worked.
  7. Read the article. They are saying it's his least likely destination. Doesn't seem like he wants to play there.
  8. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/edin-dzeko-must-leave-manchester-823910 There has been a lot of talk about him leaving City with the way the team is set up and the brand of football they play. I figure if we wanted him before, why not again? He is the perfect replacement for Drogba. Great touch, shot, in the air, and knows how to hold the ball. He is the perfect player for our brand of football.
  9. Loved watching him play last night. He's gotten far better than where he was in his last appearance. Playing with the youth/reserve team has clearly helped him a lot. I remember in his games under AVB he was getting pushed off the ball, etc. He seems to have figured out the PL a little now and is absolutely asserting himself physically, as he should being the monster that he is. I'd love for him to stay so I can get to watch him regularly, but a loan move for a year would probably be the best thing for him.
  10. Sturridge frustrates me so much late in the season. At the start of the season he was out looking to prove himself. Now its all about fancy footwork and passes that are rendered useless. Go back to the drive that pushed you to get into the first team. Torres,Turnbull and Ramires the only decent looking players out there.
  11. Time to give Lukaku a little bit of run now that we can afford to.
  12. How are we going to score when our striker has been our most creative player in the middle of the ground. FFS... Somebody make a decent pass.
  13. Sturridge get back and defend you lazy ass. Everyone has been awful outside of Bertrand, Mikel and Torres.
  14. Enough to make as good an analysis as anyone over here. In fact I'd say I've watched more Serie A than 90% of this forum considering a family member is a big Napoli fan. Someone said Cavani is able to create chances for himself and is what we need. Sturridge is far better at that. Far better technical player with the ball at his feet. Cavani is anything but a Drogba/Torres mix. Look at his goals, all of the counter, through balls in on goal, etc.
  15. Not really. I've never seen him do the things Drogba does. He runs his lines well, has pace and loves to be put in on through balls. Sturridge if given the time at the front spot would be a better player than him. Better shot on him, and he's better with the ball at his feet. Not to mention he has better pace and would run those lines better once given the time to re-adapt into that front spot.
  16. Meh, I think he's overrated personally. He's the exact same player as Torres, but not as good when Torres is in form. Plus we have Sturridge, Lukaku and Torres even if Didier does end up going. Sturridge has barely been given a shot up front. What we need is wingers.
  17. I simply don't want them to win another one. I'd prefer it if they never win another one again. They are full of plastic fans, who are the most annoying trash in the world, they get blatant favoritism from the referees, and Fergie is an absolute knobhead. And no, its not like the season never happened. It means United are stamping their domination on this era of football. I don't want that. I eventually want our club to overtake them in titles, and them adding to it isn't going to help. Though if City win it this year, we come back and win it the next 10.
  18. How very deserved for the sport of football that Man City is up against these douches. About 8 penalties for Man City in the second half will make up for all the bullshit ones the United scum get throughout the season whenever its needed and handy for them. The only reason they're at the top is because of dubious decisions.
  19. I never understood the position on Ramires some had before the CL semi final tie. It seems as though I was one of the few that thought throughout the season he was among our best players every time. I honestly can't count the number of times he's saved us defensively. He's in my opinion the best box to box midfielder on the planet.
  20. I really enjoyed Sturridge's somewhat selfish nature during AVB's tenure mainly for the reason that we were not creating enough, and sure as hell weren't taking our chances and shooting. Plus he's a natural striker, so a lot of you need to lay off the haterade. If he was playing in the middle of the ground, his attitude would be perfect and a lot of you wouldn't be complaining. His shot is a lot better than his passing, so I'd rather he win us a corner than possibly turn it over. We cannot let go of this kid. He's the next Robben, not even kidding. He's got the pace and build, the touch with the ball at his feet, just lacking in the passing. He will get there though, only 22 still. Do not let him leave. This kid is the future of our club at the front, and the future of England. He will be one of the best players of his generation. He's too quick and talented with the ball at his feet not to be.
  21. For all the attention Neymar gets, I think Lucas will be the one that ends up the better player.
  22. It was more emotionally powerful for people simply because even after Rambo's goal, it was kind of like 'amazing, we're back in it, but can we hold on for another 45 minutes with 10 men'? Where as Torres' goal was just that. The sealer, the end, the finisher of an epic battle down a man. I'm voting for Ramires' goal, but I have never celebrated a goal harder than Torres', who I think will win it anyway.
  23. Not what I'm seeing. One missed opportunity doesn't damper how well he's played. And not passing? He's the one getting everyone the ball in good positions.
  24. Bayern have looked better. Robben is having an absolute ripper of a match. He looks unstoppable with the ball.
