he should be given a "go" at CDM, and DDA is right, what the worst with that idea? he has an eye for goal, and has tricks of likes of a winger. him and rambo in midfield, i mean that is not bad if you look beyond the names and just look at their skill set. luiz has a 10x better arial passing game than mikel. also has nice through ball passes and doesnt hold on to ball as much as he used to. also he CAN defend so he wont be liabilty (not sayin mikel cant defend though). then rambo is a box to box so you no if luiz is caught forward rambo is there to break up play like he usually does. those two is not as bad as it 'sounds'. but surely we would need to 'see' it.

@Eviltwinz93, he's belgian case closed.... nah but i agrre with your drift. when the season ended, we al came here and said we need what (expensive cm (luka) or expensive winger(hulk)) and this was after the hazard signing. we got another CAM (oscar) and although i like the idea, it didnt adress any of our needs now did it? we gota hope that axel stays one more season there so we can be in the chase next tranfer window but if things heat up now we are fukin doomed! this is when i goo back to roman's meeting with scheinsteiger and hope it benefits us in near future. your right, i dont think we can boss anybody in terms of possesion. but if vs wigan we can muster 60% and do that continuously vs lower teams then all is good in my eyes and it all comes down to finishing. but if vs the munich's barca's and madrid's of the world if we decide to counter-attack then thats fine as well only thing is that we'd need a more than capable dm who can pas ahead oh himself instead of behind 70% of the time. and that where axel will be really needed.

yeah but it would be him and rambo to help ease their lack of defense responsibilites, but hazard is not in that group for me, he is very good at chasing back ball when he feels it was his fault or even in just regualr play. axel is exactly the rodwell type only more finished product. but if we want to replace mikel with almost 30mill target imagine price for lamps replacement--good thing we got KDB!

yeah but in frst half we really held them. i mean lets realize that man city had 7 defenders (includin goalie) in the first team! we had nice counters and on a good day hazard makes the right choices (good game from him soo happy to hear man city boos for him) and we win the game. but we have to stop the long balls,i saw like 5 or 6 today! torres no way gona get them we need to make simple short easy passes and work way up-field. also, we need rambo in the middle of the park, that goal today showed he can appear in right spot at right time and he has good tricks inside that mind aswell. always pulls the goods whenever vs man city. expect 4411 cech bertrand--cahill----JT------a cole studge-----rambo----mikel------hazard mata torres we dont need lamps for this one, weak team need to suffocate them with our offense. rambo is great cover for the lack of defense studge brings.

@, yeah 3 at the back is phenomal idea but if my history serves me right nobody has done that especially in EPL for a whole season, but i dont see why we cant be the first. the only problem of course is wingers and today mancity had like 5 defenders plus the goalie that 6. so if it wasnt for that red we definately would have had them in check. for me futrue chelsea team has no lamps, JT, cole, torres, mierles, essien. untill then its hard fo rme to really come up with good one.
