Here seems to be the reason the starting eleven was chosen vs Napoli. Don't know how credible but where there's smoke theirs fire. http://www.emirates247.com/sports/football/chelsea-s-avb-commits-managerial-suicide-2012-02-22-1.444412 -
A goal looks like it's on it's way. Wayyyyy to open fear the worst pray for best!!

Oh my why can't essien or mikel play?? Im pretty sure mikel is injured but essien? Some one fill me in. Thx.
-
Viva Juan mata Viva Juan mata Runnin down the wing Hearinnn us sing Viva Juan mata!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
He's not but he has to play through the pain. Common sense.
-
Lampard, want him to stay but I think inner politics is what's driving his play and age too. Box to box mid at age what 33??? Yeah it's tough for the guy but i think he needs to be is a CAM. that way we can get the best out of him ad not use his legs THAT much as apposed to box to box. Thing is, mata is best for that position when we play kalou or Malouda on LW. So suddenly lampard is pushed to his favorite but not best in terms of efficiency. We all know how vital he can be to joshy's growth and for that I want him to stay. But he has to have selective games, end of. No more week after week after week it's just inpossible right now. AND I still think we can get great performances if we get width in our squad. Let's face it he has no room to make those runs if we try to play like barca! We need wingers that get chalk in their boots and then maybe lamps can have more space and be that last man in the box. Lamps can stay but boy wouldn't he need a very special environment!

I love the support that many are givin avb but sucks is that we aren't the ones at the game!!!!! Man, how I'd let avb know we're behind him! But what scares me Is all the stock we're putting in to next season. Yes we may be better with new signings and all but we're not gona win automatically. The new team will need time to gel. I'm not tryin to be a downer by any means but it seems that we're setting him up to fail. We can win some things nbut let's not shoot for the moon! -
I'm not gota feel that much emotion during this game, idk why but just feel like it can't get anyworse. No real evidence just a feelin I have. All I can do is pray that avb gets best out of squad in UCL!!

The decisive moment in our season will start in Italy

Inspiration---a term that I agree is lost in our older player's minds. What will avb tell them, "hey guys UCL is in our reach and people are writing you off, are you Gona take that laying down?! Think about your legacy guys, is that what you want it to be? The first team to fallout of UCL since roman has bought the squad? Prople have short memories and the last is always the longest. This is a test about character, SHOW SOME!!" Too bad they all know they won't be back next season so they don't give a fuk. You think that any of them would be motivated, HELLS NO! and roman better tell them something that will wake them up. I mean a 34 year old will inspire a 33 year old? Its just soo tough for the guy and we all better realize that. Nobody saw this coming and just try Nd put yourself in his shoes. It's terrible, it's disgusting and frankly annoying as fuck! Mid season crisis, I think so. Is there light at end of tunnel?? I think so. -

Ive stated many times that i want avb to stay, and I stand by that. However I'm not felin that anger that I usually get after a lost or bad run of games. Just empty and like in a standstill. The weeks are becomin longer and longer with each article on the future of avb. In all honesty I feel soooo bad for the guy. yea he's made mistakes but who in the hell could have predicted this. if he gets fired I hope he wins big time and wins 2 champions leagues and come back to epl and wins some trophies. What a dispicable way to treat your boss. And yeah he's made mistakes, and big ones too, but GREAT teams fight through that. GREAT teams use individual brilliance to change a game that has not been goin in their direction. We're drasticly slipping away from that . IN AVB I TRUST! -
But when he grows it out!! Hahahahahaha!
-
Would almost remind me of robben signing. He's great talent looks like he would be in competition with Luiz for best hair!! Hahahahaha. Please roman get this guy, don't let man u get him in 2yrs time or shitty and then we sit hear dumbfounded at how well he'll play against us!! The sensible smart cunning signings always take the longest!! Yet the brash huge expensive ones will fly by and suddenly be here week of signing to play match! Something wrong hear?!
-
would love hazard and its only us arsenal and tottenham. all i hope is that he can see big picture because if we get who we're lookin to get, then look out EPL and watch CFC come roarin back. Hazard, Mata, Torres, Essien, Ramires, Romeu, Jovetic or Willina and then Studge to top it al off,!!! damn!!!! thats how rebuilding a squad is done!!!

AVB will be a new man come next season. Witha group of lads that will respect him and young in age, he would be able to carry out his barcelona 2.0 plan. but lets face it, you cant teach an old dog new tricks, and it was imposible from the start to try and get these guys to number one 'respect you when your practically thier age.' i dont like that one bit but come on we're just stating the obvious. next thing you know nico and alex are like lepers and casted away which i believe rocked the dressing room. so thats it, do the job listen through one ear and out the other and they would do what they want to do and make life a living hell for AVB. then add that he gives the players alot of power cuz he cant enforce things like other manger only grows their influence even more. second, since when was drogba, lampard, jt malouda and mikel going to be able to play that high tempo runiin all day and all night and become technical specialists in a matter of months. like i said 'cant teach new dog old tricks' and it was a disaster from the begining. these guys all relied on brute strength to get them through the cream of the crop, and low of the lows. and it worked and brought titles. no complaining from us, but this new system is the polar opposite of what their used to. HOWEVER! avb should have noticed this and changed to what would work for them instead he hasnt and continued plugin away at his vision of next years team instead of this years. so player power wich was already high, (dangerous for any club) was also angry and retaliated. i personally love avb and what he's trying to do this club and i know and believe he will be successful. all i ask for him is to work with whats at his disposal!! dont talk about next year this next year that! ride the ship and get us to a final in one of the cups. all managers before failed at managing their 'current squad' not on what they were planning for next season!? so what makes avb think that he can THROW AWAY this year? idk, maybe he needs two years to establish his philosophy, or he's being cocky that he has two years booked as apposed to other CFC managers. all i know is that he better save this sinking ship and fast because next year can wait!! andi think we all would agree with that. I dont want to become another liverpool where not being in UCL could be looked at as good thing, we're better than that and we couldnt possibly survive without UCL. BLUE IS THE COLOR, FOOTBALL IS THE GAME....... -

DAMN!! another topic??!! anyway, not expecting a lot in leauge only cups is all i care about. but UCL is something we can win if we are lcky enough to avoid tough teams till maybe the semis. Idk if it would be given much attention but i'll state it anyway:every time CFC has finished the preseason undefeated they have gone on to win at least 1 trophy during the campaig. nice little fact i read somewere today. -
i wouldnt mind any, but i would perfer a right foot winger. tooooo many lefties in mata malouda and studge. balance people balance!! or someone who's skilled with both feet like cough* toni kroos*. but all i want, and know we need is Willian, Jovetic and hulk/Kdb (to keep and not loan)/ or toni kroos this team would esily be sitting at a better spot than where we are. LETS HOPE WE BUY SMART AND QUICK THIS TRANSFER WINDOW, CUZ THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT TIME FOR NEXT YEAR'S PROJECT!!

The Special One Back To England?
Blue-in-me-Veins replied to Melanicus's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
i have this feelin that karma would hit us right in the mouth if we fired avb to get mourinho. i juts feel avb would come back to england and maybe be EVEN better than the 'special one'. idk, prob just being superstitious but i would keep avb and see if he could itch mourinho like pep has at fc Barca. battle of the portugese!! -
How can Chelsea claim to be rebuilding...
Blue-in-me-Veins replied to Chelsea?'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Drogba-- out Malouda-- out Mukel--- out Bosingwa--out Mierles--out Then in would be Jovetic a LW/ST to replace drogs Malouda--Kevin de Bryune Bosinwa-- alvaro perriera (converted rb) Mikel-- romeu and essien. Jovetic/mata----Torres/Lukaku---Studge/willian Kdb/mata Essien/Ramires/willian Essien/romeu Bench of: Josh mceachran, lampard, piazon anne kdb. Just from mid up that looks like a great squad willing to compete for epl title. I may have played one or two out of pos but u get the idea. Their not extreme buys like hazard and them but great quality low risk high reward purchases wich is what we'll get weather we like it or not. FFP on the way abramivich would do anything that would keep us out of the UCL like overspending by too much. -
Read a report that avb's trainings are not as intense as previous managers. He's done away with numerous activities that made us the almost fit team in the league. That's where our problem is. It's not size, but I understand where your coming from when u think that. It's the actual fitness of Our players.

That's all up to him honestly. It doesn't matter what we think, cuz we'll have biased opinions just cuz their our rival. But what makes you think we're even better??

Or Toni kroos, really similar and younger in age. Can only get better and faster (for those who hate his speed!!) but also I'd love willian and jovetic as I said before. Just people that can take a man and can beat him. U don't see Malouda lampard or mierles take them because they know they'll get it stolen. Essien and mata would flourish if they had like minded people around them too (also pace helps too which all three don't have) Future looks great if avb stays at helm and he speeds up the process like as soon as the window opens! Don't wait till sept10th to wrap up the willian deal and signings that will replace integral parts of the squad. (like the drogs lampard mikel) it's just too risky to wait late. -
Like I said spurs's only problem is transfer fee. Unlike SOME, again I said SOME people on here I have an open mind and am not shocked if he chooses them. Or maybe a man u because gigs won't be playin as much and agley young could move to cm. Anyway nothing is settled or confirmed but honestly not surprised at all.byes because he wants to leav Lille and 'waste' almost 2 years waiting for our new squad to gain experience and chemistry?! I sure as he'll wouldn't.

Torres go to Spain-- Falcao in Malouda go to brazil/France----- kdb(permanate stay or jovetic Drogba srry-- jovetic and Studge share role. Lamps/mierles (whomever)-- willian Boswingwa--- Alvaro perriera convert to rb Pva/Bertrand (one atleast!!!!) come in for rotation purposes! -
Ivory coast connection will save us and prob the season!! We'll hit that stride where everything goes our way and that's usually in late march till early April. Drogba shows how essential he his to our squad and kalou starts to bag some goals. Also This stretch just showed us why Torres can't succeed here with this current squad. It's not pass and move football that he needs. It's pass to drogba and let him do all the work. And that may be taken as a joke but it honestly isn't. He's the best when it come to strength and skill moves, nobody has that combo like him. When motivated best in world by far. When he isn't, well we know how he his. What drogs does best is get ball dodge man/ bulldoze past him and then creates advantage for us. Torres needs the miss to create thatvsdvantage for him and then he finishes off for them. That's just my opion on the two strikers and there conflicting styles.
