  1. Please sign him. He's a through ball monster and Goals/Assists machine. Would rather Ousman Dembele but Barca are reportedly in for him.
  2. I would be ok with that setup but that would require wingbacks that are supremely talented in the final third, and nothing less. Sandro/Mendy fill that bill, but I don't have confidence CFC will pull either one of them off. That's why a CM that is better offensively/passing wise (like fuckin Tolisso) would have been ideal in-case the wingback situation is not properly addressed this summer. I have no confidence with an Alonso/Moses pairing, Bakayoko-Kante can break down the likes of West-Brom, Stoke, and other low-block teams. Also, isn't Mendy already nailed on for City or no? Thought that was sealed and were just going to announce him later on, much like how Fabinho is only going to United if he decides to leave.
  3. He'll end up at Barcelona or Juventus if he truly wants to leave. No shot this Chelsea board could successfully pull off such an ambitious transfer.
  4. Tolisso would be the Nainggolan-esque signing that we all wanted. Tolisso can do it all (but obviously he's more offensive minded). But whose to say CFC shouldn't have signed both? Kante, Tolisso, Cesc, and Bakayoko would have covered all the skillsets needed, although im not that high on Bakayoko as others. But what's the point, CFC are allergic to ballers, so Bayern will be enjoying his services now.
  5. Read my edited post, on last page, I'm feeling the same way man. Complete mongs running this football club when the Tramsfer window opens. All Marina knows how to do is sell dead-weight. God forbid they ever signed a player worth more than £32M. That'll be the day the rapture ensues.
  6. Honest question, when was the last time Chelsea signed a legit 1st Tier Baller? i don't even get excited when I see the Alex Sandro rumours, Sanchez, Tolisso, Verratti, or any other top tier talent. Because CFC won't do what it takes to fucking see out the deal. Edit: It's not rocket science. The past 7 PL Champions have never repeated because in the following transfer window, they signed fuck all and watched their rivals buy nuclear arms. And Lord bless the poster who responds to this with "The Window just opened, relax." Have you lot not seen how important it is that new targets ger settled in early and have a FULL preseason with their new clubs. Or forget the summers of 2015 AND 2016. (Because last summer was a complete farce as well. The board just recieved L after L after L after L after L.) Or lastly, the fact that this board don't deserve any benefit of the doubt when it comes to the attainment of high-profile Transfer targets? Nah, this is becoming a joke now. That Tolisso news has touched a nerve.
  7. I support a Football club that would rather go all out and spend £100M+ on Lukaku and Bakayoko Instead of going after ballers like Tolisso and Sanchez.
  8. Im sorry @BlueLyon what were you saying about Costa not doing anything in January? Anywell, "We must analyze the situation coldly." (Conte after the FA Cup loss). So ruthless.
  9. Please get this done CFC. Tolissl has the complete skillset, vision, playmaking, long range shooting, sound technically, the stamina, tackling/interceptions and under the guidance of Conte, Tolisso could turn into a any type of World Class CM he wanted to become. Lampard, Ballack or Vidal. Really hope this signing happens, and quickly before Juve/Bayern come back into it.
  10. I want Mendy just as much as everyone on TC and Football-Twitter.. But if CFC miss out, I too would hope they go after Ryan Bertrand. He's grown leaps and bounds since his last season with us. Has the good crossing (mendy edges it), solid defender who no longer allows crosses, amazing work-rate, has the offensive qualities to producd in the final 3rd, at the perfect age of 27, home-grown, and CFC alumni. Idk why people hated so much on the notion of bringing him back (just check his thread). This transfer almost makes too much sense for CFC to complete.
  11. Ahh that's right, forgot that happened. Thanks. Yeah, I was reading some rumours it was Madrid that are looking at Boateng to replace Pepe as he's off to Inter Milan. And will look to keep Vallejo next season a replacement for Nacho.
  12. Would you happen to know what that was about? The fall out?
  13. In the words of Claude: "IT'S TIME TO GO!" Please Conte, please show us in the transfer window you see how useless this man is.
  14. If we keep Costa, then this is what I hope happens: CFC sign a World Class wide forward in the ilk of Sanchez/Griezmann or whomever that can play both RF and ST. AND! Either Conte seriously begins to trust Batshuayi next season (who I fully believe has earned that trust) OR! A different backup striker like Llorente or whomever is bought instead. All I ask, is that Costa doesn't go into another season with absolutely no competition for his starting place. He needs to know that if he produces fuck all for weeks/months like has has post January, that Conte will drop him with no hesitation. Side Note: the fucking cojones Costa has to issue the club an ultimatum not even an hour after the FA Cup Final, after he threw a temper tantrum and nearly derailed the team's season because China came calling is just amazing. Now that the Chinese club doesn't want to offer that insane amount of money to buy him, suddenly Chelsea is the place he wants to be if its not Atletico Madrid. Having said all this, would still be happy if he stayed. He literally won us the Title from September to December. Mad ting.
  15. Poor. Just poor all around. Still been a fantastic season, but what a way to end it. Victor Moses & Alonso, once again. In a BIG match they let us down. Simply need better WBs next season. Moses has been skating off absolutelt no competition for his place, and Alonso has to conceede so much space so he doesn't get burned. Matic & Kante were also poor. Were chasing shadow those first 45 mins, getting bossed by Ramsey and Xhaka. Anyways, still been a fantastic season, winning the League. And if that's Costa's final kick of a ball for Chelsea, that 2nd half performamce was one to be proud of, IMO. Now SPLASH. THE. CASH.
  16. Also remember reading an article couple weeks back, saying how if Real Madrid sign Verratti they might be open to selling Luka Modric being how he's 31.
  17. I just pray we don't sign both Bakayoko. Having a Bakayoko - Kante double pivot would be the most anti-football pivot of any of the top sides. They are literally carbon copies of each other on the pitch, as both want to be roaming Box-2-Box destroyers, with very limited incisive passing. The only unique skillset Bakayoko brings to the table is better dribbling and height. If anyone watched that France-Spain friendly back in March, the Bakayoko-Kante pairing was not a sight to behold. Man had them running in circles for the entire match. And Bakayoko was extremely uninspiring from the Round of 16 onwards. Had no impact whatsoever, and was a constant blackhole for anything positive happening for Monaco. CFC should Stay away.
  18. And I just did this in JR thread as well
  19. And He's off to Manchester United apparently. Its Been making the rounds all over twitter from reporters. Again, not really sure they desperately NEEDED him but we'll see how it plays out. He's a through-ball Machine, and Scorer of absolute worldies. CFC gotta pull a madness and sign one of the following for RF: Sanchez, Mbappe, Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, Or Bernardo Silva. Those are honestly the only options that would elevate Chelsea. Cannot settle for second tier options.
  20. He was always going to go to Man City. They desperately need 3 new ones as well. Going to be an amazing talent to watch.
