Suarez does it in a very different way. He doesn't have an aggressive style in order to help his play and get under the defenders skin, like Costa does. He just has the odd moment of madness where he seems to lose control. Costa seems very in control and clever the way he goes about it.

It's fair to say that Suarez, aguero etc still manage to play well without resorting to "thuggish" behaviour however they're clearly technically better than Costa. Costa works with the talent he has and in my opinion wouldn't be the player he is without that nasty side to him. Personally. I wouldn't change a thing about him.

I'd love to see him and van ginkel get a chance next season. Seem like similar sort of players to me.

Don't like the thought of hazard playing false 9. he's better running with the ball from deep. He will hardly touch the ball.

Sick of mourinhos massive ego. He just wants everything to be about him. Can't just let the team play well and win in big games. Has to be incredibly negative so that he gets the credit if we win. Playing that team at home against an injured United squad is pathetic.

It's not costas fault nobodys creating chances for him. I don't think any striker in the world would be scoring in this team the way were playing at the moment. It's no Coincidence that when we were actually attacking teams and creating chances he was scoring for fun. What other striker would evefrybody else want at the moment? People here are so fickle it's unbelievable.

I would love to see highlights of oscars last few games. Think it would be very interesting. He seems to lose the ball and break down so many attacks. I do quite like him though and think he plays much better from a deeper position. He really struggles in tight spaces.

Willian has played no.10 plenty of times for us. I personally hope oscar gets dropped as he has been awful recently and breaks down so many attacks. He needs a kick up the arse.

Don't know why courtois got man of the match. Think he was good but didn't save anything you wouldn't expect him to. Thought hazard and costa were great but I went for costa. I love him in games like this.

Why did cole dummy the ball? I know he could have scored an own goal but he should at least attemp to clear it, rather than just let it run through for their player to score. It was more his fault than hazards in my opinion

Oscar was great when he came on. He always seems to play better when he plays deeper

Luiz played well last night. He did give the ball away for the first goal, however we had a few chances to clear it and didn't. And he could do nothing about the second goal, although it was a silly free kick to give away I think matuidi played for it. People seem to be letting the medias vendetta against him effect their judgement. Even gary Neville said he was our best player in the first half. At least he doesn't hide when we're playing bad, unlike some of our players. Terry, cech and lampard were at fault for the goals which nobody seems to talk about.

I can see Ramires playing on the right tonight, with Matic and Lampard CM. I really hope thats not the case though

If we do move lampard forward there's no way he'll keep his position, which Is probably a good thing. Well played today though.

I know we won the champs league whilst he was in charge but he had very little to do with it. All we did was play with 11 men behind the ball and got a few lucky goals. We were so lucky it was unbelievable. Even in the final you could see it was terry giving the team instructictions while di Matteo stood there looking scared and way out out of his depth. Wish people would stop licking his arse.

Lampard has never been an AM. I remember when we used to play a diamond formation and lampard was at the Tip and it didn't suit him at all. And that was when he was in his prime. He's better playing deep so he can make late runs into the box. Think the only formation that suits him is 433.

Maybe not but even mikel would be a better option than lampard at the moment. Lampard clearly isn't suited to play in the pivot. If mourinho had watched us much over the last couple of years he would have bought a new DM.

I think people should be judged on how they're currently performing. Not how they performed over the past 10 years

Would anybody be defending lampards performances this season if he were a new signing? I don't even think he'd be on the bench if he were being judged on his performances this season. As much as I like mourinho, I think he's being influenced by his personal relationship with lampard.

Am I the only one who thought he was awful against schalke? He lost the ball almost every time he touched it. I know he did okay tracking back but that's not what I look for in a winger. The same reason I don't like Ramires on the wing.
