Kaka used to be one of my favourite midfielders some years back, I would've been very happy then... But after those years I haven't heard much since about him.

Everybody has their fair share of blame, no need to point a finger... We are in this situation because of the board's many bad decisions (forced signings, unexplainable contract extensions etc), while the players aren't that capable or motivated anymore, while the manager has done some mistakes, while some may argue that the fans haven't been behind the team enough etc etc.. So, everybody can be blamed more or less.

how many shots on goal and chances did he have today? did he attempt forward runs? I remember (while I was awake) that a few of the players tried searching him with through balls, but he didn't make the run or the pass was shit. I also remember the chested chance. I read that he was anonymous at the end when we were pushing for the winner... is it true?

Btw, I noticed the stadium was fully silent in the 1st half.. only clapping after some situations. And this game was supposed to be a derby.. Was it really that silent over there?

I fell asleep during 2nd half, but managed to see the goals and some parts of the game... but by the looks of it, it seems I didn't miss much.

But of course I could've moved to England or whatever as a toddler.. a man can have his regrets

Man.. I'd love to be a pro footballer: You are hugely overpaid, get to use top quality training facilities for free, and get all the women you want no matter how ugly you are.

What he did was wrong definitely, he has screwed up in his life, but everybody makes mistakes. Everybody, you and me.. We all are scumbags to some degree. Anyway, it's just my view.. I don't consider myself a saint therefore I don't judge others too much. None of us really knows how John is personally, we can only read about him in papers - not the best way to learn about a person. He just has the "privilege" of his every move being reported publicly.

He always says the right things, but it's easier to say than do it appears.... I can't imagine what kind of psychological battle he is fighting, he must be doubting his true quality and talent by now. No matter in what profession, there comes a point when a person starts seriously questioning his worth after failing too long... you become convinced that you, in fact, really suck. Hasn't the club sent him to a sports psychologist yet? They deal with problems like that.
