  1. They are better under Paul Jewell, there is no question of that. Completely murdered Sunderland on Saturday.
  2. I hope if Anelka comes, that he scores a debut hattrick
  3. You sure about there was a 'm'?
  4. Glad it is in away fixture, the atmosphere in the PL game was brilliant.
  5. Drogba actually captains his national side in the first place. Ashley was arguably the most experienced player on the pitch on Saturday although I believe the honour of being captain should have been handed to Ferreira as he was the most senior player in the team. Our captain's order is something along these lines - Terry, Lampard, Cudicini (often gets captaincy when Terry and Lamps and Cech are out), Ballack, Drogba, Joe Cole and Ash
  6. Blame Paul Robinson for his latest blunder If that hadn't happened, things would be fine.
  7. Your Arsenal points have already been added mate
  8. Oh great, he scores another two goals against arguably the worst defence in the EPL yesterday and all of a sudden everyone is arse raping him.
  9. The Grunt can't help it really. Although I'm a bit pissed off because I was looking forward to some weeknight footie on Setanta. Oh well.
  10. I think we will take this game 2-0 eventually, and hopefully we can keep a clean sheet. If Everton score we have it all to do.
  11. Hope he doesn't get injured. I'll be seriously fucked off if he does. Luckily Mikel will be staying for the game against Everton before going.
  12. A rotation would be good because we need some sort of variation. If one player keeps on taking corners in a match eventually the defence will become wise to it and will clear. In my opinion, Joe Cole, Malouda, Ballack and Belletti should take the corner kicks between them. Drogba, Ballack, Lampard, Shevchenko, Alex and Joe Cole should sahre free-kicks in attacking positions.
  13. He was available for free so it seemed good deal at the time I suppose.
  14. Aye, putting Cech in against Villa was a huge mistake. I'd rather we had played Hilario, at least I would be certain we had a fit goalkeeper.
  15. To be honest, it was a scrappy game. But that is to be expected in the knocout round of any cup competition - one mistake may result in your team going out of the tournament. I think both managers were aware of this and were therefore insiting their players be cautious and make defence the priority. Lead to a pretty poor game, but a win in the FA Cup is a great result no matter the scoreline. You could play the same opposition the week after in a league game and there would be 5 or 6 goals. Its just the magic of the FA Cup.
  16. I had the opportunity to watch the game on CTV
