No. At the minute, I don't think Terry is playing well enough. It pains me to say it, because he is a Chelsea legend, but he isn't cutting the mustard right now.
Kalou looks a lot better to me when he comes on as a substitute, when his pace can run tired defenders ragged. I point you in the way of the United game and the FA Cup semi-final; he made a real difference. I don't think he has the quality to be a top striker but he can certainly prove a useful squad player. No need to sell him, IMO.
That is true; we probably played the better football as well whilst he was away. My point is every team has a star player that comes up with the goods time and time again. You can say United struggled without Rooney, whilst we coped without Drogba - but Arsenal have kept themselves in touching distance without Van Persie. At the end of the day, it isn't a case of who copes best with injuries, its about who wins the most points.
A minimum of 8 players trained in England: Lampard, Terry, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, Ross Turnbull, Jeffrey Bruma, Stoch, Mancienne, Borini, John Obi Mikel, Salomon Kalou, etc. Plus the 'foreigners. '
Spot on. He needs to he shown that he needs to up his game. That's why I said we need to take the captaincy from him. It will make him reconsider his place at the club. The more I think of it, the more I think we should have sold him to City.
Nope, Belletti's fit as far as I know. Was on the bench against Bolton I think. Apparently Carvalho is fit for next weekend, which would be a welcome boost.
I think I was being a bit unfair about Yuri, because he had a torrid first half. However he was decent in the second half, so his performance probably warrants a small amount of praise.
