I don't think we need wholesale changes at all. We certainly need to get rid of some of the older players, but we already have the foundations of what could be a very promising future with some of the players we have coming through the Youth team and Reserves. 'Out with the old, in with the new,' I say. Out Deco - inconsistent. Past his best, but brilliant on his day - his day isn't often enough though. Ballack - as above. Hilario - has always been reliable but we need someone better to challenge Petr Cech. Belletti - as much as I would like him to stay, it would appear he won't be offered a new contract. Carvalho - we have better options. A Chelsea great, but he is past his best unfortunately. Joe Cole - I don't want him to leave, but does he deserve a new contract? Not in my opinion. No point keeping him for sentimental reasons. He's 29 this summer and will never recapture his best form in my opinion. So we have a choice; keep him, or let Kakuta and Stoch - our two biggest talents - show what they're made of. In Sergio Aguero - I don't think I need to justify this selection, his talent is obvious. Angel di Maria - I'm not sure whether we need him - but if we lose Cole this summer he'd be an obvious replacement. However it may deny GK44 and Stoch from showing their worth. From the Academy Matej Delač - already signed. Gael Kakuta - promote from academy. Definitely needs more game time. Patrick van Aanholt - promote from academy. Ryan Betrand - promote from academy - but maybe loan to a PL team. Jeffrey Bruma - promote from academy. Michael Mancienne - not strong enough for CB, in my view. However he's shown his versatility at RB and CDM and is a bright prospect. Sam Hutchinson - promote from academy. Fabio Borini - promote from academy - but send out on loan. Nemanja Matic - needs more game time. Miroslav Stoch - probably our biggest asset along with Kakuta. That would give us a really strong squad in my view.
