I don't think we need any defenders to be honest! RB: Bosingwa, Ferreira, Mancienne, (Ivanovic) CB: Alex, Terry, Ivanovic, Bruma, Hutchinson, Rajkovic LB: Ashley Cole, Zhirkov, van Aanholt (Ferreira, Bosingwa)
That's because Spurs enquired and his agent apparently said a deal has been made with another club. He's moreorless guaranteed to be off, which is sad, but its time to let Kakuta show if he was worth the transfer embargo.
Of all the clubs... Arsenal? I know he'd be a favourite there - he'd be moreorless the only good English player they have at the club and would compliment their team, but they aren't going to win anything any time soon.
And you're an ungrateful twat. Jim doesn't have to spend his time trying to make this place look even better. If you don't like the layout, tough, better get used to it.
Okay, you've twisted my arm. I'm sad for any club (except Liverpool, United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Leeds) to go out of business. Actually, forget Arsenal, I like beating them.
Awesome Sig, Gary Gordon I'd also prefer to play as many of the likes of United, City, Liverpool, Everton and Spurs away first, and before Christmas as well. Moreorless this opposite of what we had in 2009/10. It just makes our run-in that bit easier.
Don't take any of these reports seriously until after the World Cup. 99% of our players will want to focus on the tournament rather than sorting out their club futures.
Really glad for them. I'm no fan of Crystal Palace but it's horrible seeing football teams going out of business for the simple reason of the fans being screwed over.
Agree with Cameron. It's a shame because he's got great talent... but we have more exciting prospects like Kakuta who should be given the playing time. I genuinely believe Stoch can become a great player; someone in the mould of Schweinsteiger for instance. However I think Kakuta can truly become world class with the right tutelage and we have to prioritise our best assets.
The words footballers say aren't worth the paper their pay cheques cost. I don't think there are many genuine footballers in world football - all the majority want is more money. Even Terry - 'Mr Chelsea' - needed a £30,000 wage hike to be persuaded to stay, and whilst 'proving his loyalty' Frank received £150,000 a week rather than the meagre £120,000 he was on.
Let's be fair, we were going through shit patches when we played them. I'm confident if we'd have played them - home or away - in April/May we'd have hit them for six. In truth we owe both defeats to poor goalkeeping displays on the day.
