Because Villas-Boas hasn't made the desired impact, people like Terminator X have branded him an uncaring fraud, which is incredibly unfair. I think, for that reason, you can excuse supporters for getting a bit disillusioned with some of the bullshit on this forum. I swear if I wasn't an Admin, and I therefore had no responsibility to maintain my activity I'd have left a long time ago I'm thrilled with almost everything Villas-Boas has done - the defensive high line being my only gripe. It makes us rather vulnerable at the back, but that argument is one well-documented on here so I won't waste my time going into detail. However it does support out style of play, which is wonderful to watch. Remember this is work-in-progress and in a year or two we will have more players to facilitate a successful attacking style. It will take time, you can't turn into Barcelona overnight. As for where we are; looking at our UCL and EPL fixtures, this is roughly, give or take a win or two, where I thought we'd be at this point in the season, so I can't complain. Some people don't seem to realise that whilst we are in a period of transition, which will take time, we don't have a hope in hell of catching City. The best we can hope for is to beat United to second place. People are just angry because they have come to the conclusion that we won't win the league this season, so they are looking for the most obvious scapegoat - ie, AVB, when the system lets us down. In AVB I trust.
