  1. I don't see why people are opposed to this. Who better is available? Look at City, they wanted Falcao and Cavani and ended up with Negredo and Jovetic
  2. ^ yes, Napoli clearly "suck"; finished second only to a magnificent Juventus team. On another note, can I have some of what you're smoking. Locked.
  3. Tancredi can go fuck off and die, shit-stirring cock-sucking twat.
  4. So many rumours on Twitter saying he's headed to Milan!
  5. I'm more than happy to oblige if you'd like to be promoted up the order
  6. Absolutely. Going by what we've been reading the last couple of days, Hazard is shit and should be benched, de Bruyne is the embodiment of the Second Coming and Bertrand Traore should start against Hull. Deluded! Absolutely! I struggle playing and training in moderate humidity during the British summer; but he's doing it in far harsher conditions and without eating during daylight hours. Absolutely incredible, I have nothing but respect for the man.
  7. I'm sure the same people saying Schurrle/Hazard should be dropped because of two shit pre-season performances also want Bertrand Traore to play every game for us because he scored a goal, right?
  8. I hope people aren't judging him too much based on pre-season. He's fasting for Ramadan so it's highly unlikely he's going to be anywhere close to even 50% right now.
  9. Jim is currently looking at getting us our own dedicated server. Our current server costs us £60 a month, which is achievable with current donations. To avoid errors like this we need to get our own dedicated server, which can cost up to £200 a month. Obviously, that is a massive difference in price. The fact is unless we can get that amount of donations or funds through advertising in articles, any current problems will persist, meaning increased downtime.
  10. I see what you're saying mate, but if I was running a country I'd take your point a lot more seriously! This is just a forum. If people don't like the idea and it flops then I'm fine with that. I'm just trying to do something that is in my mind in the best interests of the forum on the whole, by ensuring we have a representative set of nominees!
  11. ^ well I have to make up for us being shit somehow
  12. I see what you're saying. I am obviously going to be fair! But let's say for the sake of argument that I have 4 people on the poll already, but then two people have 4 nominations each, I wouldn't necessarily just include them in the poll; I'd assess their contribution and past record of nominations/titles.
  13. I'm doing the Twitter feed for this one. When I cover matches it's normally a boring-as-fuck 1-0. Sorry.
  14. ^ he was though, last season. We'll see how this season goes. I wouldn't judge someone of his undoubted quality by one pre-season friendly.
  15. All fair points, and all acknowledged. But I'm not saying I'm going to be like Hitler and say "sorry, I don't like you so you're not going on the poll". I'm a little surprised you thought I'd take such a line!
  16. Can't help it. It's like a fucking drug.
  17. And that is only good for us. How many posts did I read last season saying Ramires/Mikel/Lampard/Benayoun weren't good enough for those positions? I honestly can't remember, they were countless! Now we have so much competition that everyone has to give it their absolute best to even get into the team, let alone hold the place down.
  18. Haha probably, Chou! It's just an experiment; if it works then great. If not, then we go back to the normal way! I'm just trying to think of ways to make it a little more representative of the whole month
  19. Yeah he played well yesterday. Wasn't seriously tested but two good saves to his name, his distribution was excellent as well.
  20. ANYWAY, BACK TO DE BRUYNE... I don't think we'll see him again on this tour. A couple of weeks of light rehab and he should be fine for the start of the new season though. Thank God.
  21. I absolutely love this kid. Yes, I know I'm basing it on two pre-season games, but he is so neat and tidy as a footballer. Composed defensively as well. Positionally very well disciplined. He definitely will be of great use for us. There's no doubt Mourinho is intending on playing him as a defensive midfielder as well, judging on the fact he has sat whilst Essien and Ramires have roamed. Not necessarily a bad thing, he has the temperament for it.
