  1. Currently have ivanovic, hazard and torres.
  2. Replace lamps with hazard and you're good to go mate
  3. Lee Harris - Made in Munich Bring it on bitches!
  4. Ahh thats cool ignore this league peeps, i'll delete mine - follow kezzas link
  5. Not sure if anything is ever done in regards to a talk chelsea fantasy football league so i have created one in case it isn't. If this could be pinned to generate good interest that would be great! Website is www.fantasy.premierleague.com It is free to register and enter a team. I find it one of the better variations because you pick a squad of 15 players to use. Team changes and transfers can be made weekly so people can keep control and on top of their team. I have created two leagues to enter. The first is a classic league which is basically score as many points as possible over the season. The second is a head to head league so you'll be facing off against a different person each week, 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw. I'm hoping to get a decent number of people join and it will be a good chance to see who really does know their football and who, put it simply, doesn't Code for classic league 161594-52378 Code for head to head league 161594-52399 Any questions, just shout.
  6. So £32m for hazard is ridiculous but £26m + for lucas moura represents good value does it fergie?? - dickhead!
  7. Wouldn't read much into his comments - i'm pretty sure it's as good as done. He looks a real talent, just keeps everything ticking over orchestrating play from the middle of the park. Very exciting prospect.
  8. The more i read and see this kid the more excited i'm becoming. Looking forward to watching him tonight.
  9. Bosingwa as a one on one defender when facing the attacker was never the worst. It was his positioning and concentration levels that let him down - players didn't need to dribble past him, instead just run past him without the ball!
  10. Is that a done deal? I know it was rumoured.
  11. Is that a done deal? I know it was rumoured.
  12. Don't worry mate, bosingwa is still available!
  13. I am assuming though that he has fully recovered in a much stronger fashion than Essien ever has?
  14. He's highly rated and a beast on Football Manager, but I haven't really seen much of him. Anybody care to discuss his strengths, weaknesses, what he can bring to the team, etc? I have heard that he is injury prone, is this true? Having said that Torres was an injury nightmare before we brought him and I don't think he's had an injury in 18 months here.
  15. That Di Matteo quote is better than any twitter or 'Sky Source' - pretty much a done deal with a comment like that lol!
  16. I will be thoroughly pissed off if we lose out for him to Spurs. If Porto continue to remain stubborn and he doesn't move anywhere I can accept it, but not to Spurs! And for those saying we are well stocked, we still lack a SPECIALIST RIGHT WINGER!!! If we don't buy Hulk we'll have a mix of the likes of Ramires, Marin, De Bruyne, Benayoun and Sturridge playing there next season and none are natural in that position. I would also expect once our transfer activity is complete that a couple of players will leave.
  17. Congratulations mate! My daughter is 18 months old and the enjoyment you get from your children just seems to get better and better so enjoy it! What I have never enjoyed is the sleepless nights but I guess that's ok for you if Chelsea are on in the middle of the night
  18. On one side I agree with this, but I can't be showing double standards. I have been critical with Chelsea for a long time about not buying talent direct. By that I mean the club they have come up through. We spent vast sums on David Luiz and Ramires, and although both have become important members of our squad, Benfica purchased both for a fraction of the price they sold to us for (in Ramires case they sold him for treble the money after one season). At the beginning of the Abramovich era we brought Cech and Robben before they made moves to a higher standard in European football. Cech has become one of our greatest players ever and Robben shone before we sold him for a substantial profit. Unfortunately now Brazil have got smart and a lot of their players are massively hyped and priced. Oscar is not worth £25m at the moment, but I would loathe Spurs pick him up and he becomes a star. Yes it is a risk but sometimes you have to take the plunge and luckily Chelsea can afford to take a risk or two on players. A lot of people didn't think Modric was worth £16m when he moved to Spurs and didn't expect him to develop into a deep lying central midfielder in the pace and intensity of the Premier League. I believe Oscar will be groomed as a Modric type player over the next couple of seasons and wish him the best of luck in embarking on his Chelsea career.
  19. Yep, looking forward to buying Football Manager and PES next season. On FM I always try and stick with the same team the first season - won't need to worry about suffering on that basis this year with some of the talent we've brought. And I will no longer be bothered about everybody choosing Barcelona or Madrid on PES anymore, I'll just whip them game after game with Chelsea
  20. I think I'm going to have to get some shut out about 9ish Wednesday night then, wake up to watch Chelsea and then back to bed for 3 hours before work. I'm not expecting results in pre season, just some promising performances and fitness. The Seattle and MLS All Star games won't be easy because the MLS is currently in mid season so players should be in peak condition. I am looking forward in this game in particular that still without so many players we should get to see a number of the younger players get a run out. I would expect to see most players only get a half, 50-55 minutes max.
  21. I haven't seen much of him before if I'm going to be honest and I know he's good in FM but there are a few players in that game well rated that I don't hold in the highest regard. I am assuming he would fit into our side as a RW? If so what are his strengths and weaknesses? How much is he likely to cost? Is he a worthy addition?
  22. If for anything else i would want Lampard first choice when on the pitch purely to boost his chances of breaking the goal record! When not on the pitch then Hazard. For someone so young yet so composed is a big positive that we should make the most of. He will get his fair share over the next couple of seasons when lampard isn't on the pitch and then can take over full time when lampard steps aside.
  23. 2 things I would love now to see: 1. Somebody making an official complaint against Rio Ferdinand and that other twitter dickhead, and enjoy watching them get pulled through the courts and judged within the media. 2. The Chelsea boys taking a stance and refusing to play for England anymore. I couldn't really care less how well England do because they have too many players within the squad that I detest from a club level and their treatment of Chelsea players over the years has been deplorable. Would be nice to see Cole get to his 100 caps and then him, Terry and Lampard tell England to get fucked. Would be even funnier then if this exodus lead to us not qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
  24. I also agree with Toronto and Seb. There have already been rumours of a poor attitude and application and until he sorts that out he will never reach his potential. He should have been playing every game for Dijon, and that he didn't is indeed a worry. He needs another loan spell that will get him games to develop. I personally would look at him going on loan to a team in the Championship. There is no doubt Kakuta has ability and that would show in such a league - but he would also have to grow up quickly. I would actually compare his situation a little to Taarabt. I actually think that Kakuta will find his best place will be being a big fish in a small pond, and I have a feeling that he will not make it at Chelsea, particularly with the recruitment of a number of young attacking players recently. However, a good loan spell or two would provide him with the opportunities to at least prove his worth to the club before being cut loose.
