danny as striker is a good idea although we have traditionally like to have a forward who can hold the ball up and keep possession in the opposing third i.e. drogba even anelka...even welbeck can do so but he does add a different flair playing as the point ST..cant wait for the game tomorrow

agreed on this one the red was harsh but i think thats for the media cause if he has a positive fully game with a couple goals and a fully 90 with a chelsea win they have nothing to talk about..

i agree i just dont like seeing it especially when you look at his work last season when we were struggling..oh well the mob is fickle

not a huge kalou fan but its hard to see the hate the player gets in these forums..especially as we call ourselves supporters of chelsea and its players.. last season when we were in the depths of not gaining points kalou in a lot of those games was a bright spot to the team more than drogba more than lampard and some of the others..scored a few winners near the end of the season to even give us a chance to put pressure man u ...and all of a sudden he is a villian i dont buy it if he played and strung consecutive great performances would everyone switch how they feel about him.. he has serviced the squad and i think we should just leave it at that...

I wouldn't say he is all the way back but the strides he has made since AVB has taken over a couple of goals in pre-season a few assists and finally the world class movement and finish..we are seeing the Torres that we are all salivating at the potential goals and performances that will fire us right into contention of champions league as well as winning everything domestically... I think ancelotti was not the right guy to get him ready mentally and we are seeing the benefits of having your coach 100% behind you not saying anything in the media like we had seen after he had signed in jan.. BRAVO Fernando for continuing to work hard..WE the Chelsea faithful support you!!

on the torres miss old torres 9 out of 10 buries that..heres to thinking we have the torres of old back and thats his one out of 10 miss

you know what after all is said and done torres did miss a sitter and rambo missed two that easily gives us a 4-3 advantage..but imo we out played man u they were just more clinical in their finishing in the first half.. this one is over with and even though it was a lose it showed the teams character..still a long season and a long way to go.. but lamps no longer plays in the big games im just saying
