Please stop the stupid responses without any substance or arguments, while I wasn't even quoting your original post.

Out of all the football players in the world there are only a select few that get to play on a professional level. I don't believe it's so far fetched that those players would pass on their natural given abilities to their children, so they have a higher chance of having children that go on to be professional athletes (football or other) themselves.

I'm sure you did an extensive study on these percentages, but Dr. Alun Williams, Director of the Manchester Metropolitan University’s Cheshire Sports Genomics Laboratory happens to disagree with you.
According to him scientific evidence suggests that athletic ability is dependent on both genetic and environmental factors.
“The genetic component appears to be around 50-70%, depending on what aspect of ability one is thinking about. Even a very favourable set of genes will not automatically make someone a good athlete, let alone a champion,” he said. “But certainly, if someone has a very unfavourable set of genes, in many sports no amount of training and diet will make them a champion.”
Anyway I suggest we close this topic and get back to the Charly Musonda discussion.

Kakuta in his youth prime which was 07/08 scored 11 goals in 27 apps and his overall game back then , to anyone that understands football, was extremely headless chickenless and full of empty showboating i.e dribbling and skills that ultimately lead to nowhere while Musonda on the otherhand ran the show and inspired arguably the best youth team in europe to domestic and European success playing mostly as a central midfielder showing the maturity, intelligence and understanding of the game that Kakuta never had.
Gael was just another typical youtube wonderkid. Don't confuse meaningless showboating/skills for dominance.

Personally I think Lukaku is one of the most frustrating players to watch. One moment you love him, the other moment you wished he was playing for the opposition.

There are aspects of his game that still need development and I agree that his age is factor we need to take into account. The question I ask myself regularly is “have those aspects improved enough over the past 4 years since he has been a professional player to have any hope that he will be able to reach the level required for Chelsea?”

I guess only time will tell, but from my perspective if you’re playing for a top 8 team in the premier league at the age of 20 and scoring like he is doing that makes you far from being an average player, regardless of the fact that he will ever become “world-class”.

I have to say that so far he has far exceeded my expectations until now. When he first joined I thought the main reason was because he was "the brother of" and if you read through the early posts on the forum when he joined in 2012 I wasn't the only one.
Even though the Belgian League isn't the strongest in Europe winning the best player of the year award at 20 years old is not something that should be underestimated. Two names of come to mind of players that won the award when they were 20 years or younger: Vincent Kompany and Axel Witsel.
Regardless of the fact if he will ever make the first team we have done a great piece of business signing Thorgan Hazard.

Considering he was born in Belgium, grew up in Brussels and went through the Anderlecht youth academy until 2011, that's a rather stupid comment to make... Just because he hasn't determined which country he'll represent.

Bullshit! Aguero at 20/21 had 17 league goals and in the following season had 12 league goals. Lukaku has got 8 PL from 13 league starts already and is way on course to get up to the 20 mark. Jesus Christ, he goes 5 games without scoring and all of a sudden he is not our quality. RVP had his dry spells last season and this season too but quality will always eventually show. When you are 20, playing every week because you are much better than the other strikers there it is natural for him to slack of a little. But get your facts right please because if you compare what Aguero done to Lukaku at the age of 19, while Lukaku was at WBA, you cannot compare the two. Lukaku got 17 league goals right last season at a much inferior team.
Find me proof to show Aguero done more than Lukaku at around the same age. And also many players in there 20's, like Drogba had not even been on the big stage and you are hear judging Lukaku at 20. Give him a break! He has been nothing short of excellent this season and is a big reason why they are up there with the likes of City, us, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Can't even believe you had one person like your post, let alone bloody 3! Sorry your post is absolute rubbish and untrue.
He is showing signs every season that he is going to be a world class striker and he is getting better and better!

But he was far from poor. We cannot judge from one game of his that "he is not ready to be our main striker". He worked his socks off for a start and while he was not excellent he caused his fair share of problems bearing in mind he played a whole 90 mins at Old Trafford and ran United CB ragged all game long. When Arsenal beat Liverpool 2-0 this season, Suarez was very average so we can't use the Arsenal game to say he is not ready for us as in most Everton games he has proved that he is more than capable of leading the line for us. I still think he looked more threatening on Sunday for Everton than all of our strikers have done against Arsenal since Drogba left and while Koscielny won a few of the tussles I am sure he knew Lukaku gave him quite a tough time.
I agree that he is thriving at Everton and Martinez is helping but I always disagree with this notion that he is simply scoring goals because teams are more open to Everton than us. It is partly true but it is not to say that teams go all out against Everton. For a start they have one of the highest rates of possession in the league already if not the highest and the way they play forces teams to sit back because it is hard for opposition teams to get the ball of them.
We have to remember he is 20 and has been playing 90 mins for the last few games and taking that in to consideration I thought he done quite well against Arsenal. His decision making could of been better but if you ask me did he look a threat I would say yes and I would take that any day of the week but my main point is we cannot use one game to say he is not capable of leading the line for us when I thought he was actually decent and in most games against lower opposition and the bigger teams he has been more than impressive contributing with goals and assists.

What a load of BS.. please show me a link to this negative press, all i found was reporters being ecstatic about him..
What a load of crap.. He scored twice, In Croatia for god's sake, and for the second goal he had to make a run of 60 meters without any support..
for some reason, everything Lukaku does has to be minimalised here, the fridge is shining on international level, what are our other strikers doing?
It is this kind of negativism that will chase Lukaku away, even being a die hard Chelsea fan since his youth.. With his attitude and talent, he will be a worldclass striker within the next two years. If we didn't already bought him, we would all be over the moon about him.. really.. what the f*ck does this guy has to do to be appreciated over here? he got once chance with the Belgium NT, starting in the do or die match in Croatia and he booked our ticket to Brazil with an excellent performane

Watching the goal against Sparta brings me back to a comment I made during Brazil's match against Portugal.
This goal right here reminds me a lot of the goal Neymar scored for us Tuesday... I'm someone who avoids comparisons in general. I hate comparing players because no one is supposed to be like someone else. But I can make a few exceptions here and there and I like to compare styles.
But when I was watching Neymar dribbling the heck out of Portugal's midfield and defense it reminded me of Eden. He has the talent, the technique and the ability to dribble, to make space out of nowhere, go get rid of two, three opponents marking him. I wonder why he doesn't do it more... he needs to do it more.
This vid shows he's smooth - or was we say in portuguese slippery. He can pass through opponents and I wish he had more confidence to do it more often. I can only blame lack of confidence and I wonder if Mourinho has been talking to him about it. I feel like maybe he's insecure of dribbling and losing the ball and lead to judgment, criticism and even reprehension from the managers and maybe even the fans.
I hope he plays his game more freely and start stop caring if he's going to succeed or not. Or maybe the reason is something completely different. It can't be Mourinho's presence... if there was a team that had plenty of dribblers was RM. Mourinho supports talent. I don't want him to overdo it like Neymar and I definitely don't want him to have the same antics Neymar uses (feigning aggression by opponents, diving, falling at every tiny touch on him), but I'd love for him to be as carefree as Neymar is when it comes to dribble. They're both just talented and although Eden dives a bit himself, he's twice a fair player than Neymar is and for him to reach the wonders I know he can reach he needs to start playing more carefree and caring less if the dribble will go as he plans or not... My expectations on Eden are huge and I admit I'm sort of anxious to see him deliver everything I know he will. But the sooner the better if you ask me

I believe he had what it took to be second and get a fair amount of deals. I also believe he got offloaded due to a lack of posibilities to offload Torres and/or Ba. I also believe Mou did not keep his word about his belief in the guy. I do think this has an effect on the boy - in terms of Chelsea - that effect Ell be detrimental (less loyality, desillusioned in a club that did this twice to him).
So disregarding his development (an argument is think is way overstated on here), I think Chelsea just cut in its own flesh and I hope we do not pay the price for it later if Eto'o doesn't instant deliver.
So ... To answer some! This is not a Belgium FC motivated concern, but very, very, very much a CFC related concern.
I believe (not know!) we did not do so well here (disregarding how this will affect others in the team Lukaku is close with, eg. KDB and other non-belgians) .
This is not Fifa or FM where you pass players around like pawns without them having thought, emotions and opinions on it.
Edit: despite his short tweetwith a smiley, already reports from his manager the loan came out of the blue and he isn't happy with it. Go figureif you have just been told you will be an important player for the team.

The biggest mistake I ever made was being negative about this guy when we first signed him.
What a fucking performance, he was out of this world. I have never seen anyone been able to do what he did. I'm not going off the boarder here but his first touches where better than Messi's that's no exaggeration, he turned every single player. Honestly this guy is a serial rapist after tonight, Lahm and Boateng now have bigger arse holes than Frankie goes to Hollywood.
I love this guy, honestly if we do win the title it will be down to him, everytime he gets the ball he does something with it, I'm so confident with him. It's came to the point that I am relieved just like we've cleared the ball outside the box whilst defending a 1-0 lead in the last minute. Fantastic player, I really hope he stays at Chelsea for a long time.
