We'll either have to improve or switch to plan B: pass to Hazard
-
That didn't last long

Why would you go in a tackle like that in that place of the pitch? Why at all?

3 (according to whoscored)

7 - Eden Hazard has scored all seven of his PL penalties. Of players with 100% records, only Dimitar Berbatov (9/9) has more. Specialist. — OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) As a side note, does anybody know who our 2nd in line is to take penalty kicks. I suppose one of either Costa or Fabregas?

Bleeding form the ear is serious when it is the result from a fracture in the base of skull, which was very unlikely given the relatively low impact. The blood here was most likely the result from a small skin laceration inside the ear, which is indeed nothing to worry about. Edit: "relatively low impact" may be wrongly worded. What I meant to say was that because because he was hit by the softer thigh of Sanchez (and not his knee) the chances of a fracture were very low.

Smart man that Szczesny http://www.byfarthegreatestteam.com/posts/costa-fabregas-hazard-can-kill-us-szczesny-warns-teammates/?

Mate enough already. In your previous post you say you are sick argueing about it, but you continue to insult him in every post. You made your point. If you think that lampard should have just stand for twenty minutes in the center circle, fine. But do you expect the same of fabregas when we play le arse or is that something different?

Based on numbers only, his dribbling is probably already (second) best in the world. Take the game today for example, where i considered him to be anonymous for large parts of the game. He still completed 7 dribbles, and during his last 5 matches for chelsea averaged around 6 a game (whoscored). That is insanely high. Players like robben, ronaldo, bale, silva, aguero haven't exceeded 4 or 5 this season. When Di Maria had a wordly against germany, he reached 6. The only one who can present the same numbers is (unsurprisingly) a little argentine by the name of messi.

From the lampard thread Term-X: "Posh boy private school scum raised to love only money, doesn't care about the club or the fans, no respect, not proper chels.. never was. He follows money, not his heart." "Cost us.. look at him!, smiling!.. this means nothing to him, not fooled by the mute celebration either. No affinity with the club, no heart.. private school boys are always a bit weird, thankfully I was raised middle class. Silver spooned Judas." You call this "stating an opinion". Slating one of our all time greats, not based on anything football related, but based on his upbringing? IN the mean time insulting anyone private schooled. It's disgusting?

Oh come on! You have no way of knowing.

Lampard??

He was though
-
Gonna be a nerve wrecking 20 minutes

Schurrle warming up
-
Up until now, we have accomplished nothing going forward
-
Costa lucky there

Don't really agree with those that are saying Hazard had a good game throughout. He had a brilliant first 30 minutes, but faded after that with bad passes and finishing, although he came to life again in the last 10 minutes. For example he made 5 succesful dribbles in the first half, 0 in the second. Overall passing accuracy 79% (whoscored).

What shape?
-
Even Drog's link-up play is poor right now

Discussing Costa in the Kompany thead... Wut??? The guy has been running his bollocks of for the club, scoring 7 goals in his first 4 matches, and you still want to question his commitment? Nobody is denying that his tantrums can be cause of concern, but please, get some perspective.

And the same people were saying Costa was gonna flop, after winning the Spanish league and reaching the CL finals. These muppets come in (not only Blind, but also Rojo and Herrera) having proven nothing at the top level, they play one decent game against whatever that QPR side was, and Hallelujah!! Edit: Di Maria is a monster, don't get me wrong.

My thoughts exactly. Back on topic, I voted Costa. But then agein hazard... 90 touches, 93% pass completion, 9 dribbles, 5 shots on goal (whoscored)
