Am I the only one who can't find a frigging working stream?

Anyone have a stream that doesn't freeze every odd minute?

We haven't directly strengthend areas we NEEDED to improve, ie central midfield, defence and striker, so yes, in my opinion we have spent wrong. We've made some very good signings, but they weren't necessary. Van Ginkel might turn out to be a very good buy but he isn't going to solve our current biggest problem, which is the pivot. Imho he should have gone on loan to Ajax. I don't need to tell you the benefits. Our biggest problem atm is the transition from defense to attack, we haven't got the ball-holding distributor that's oh so important for nearly any system out there in football.

Maybe you're right.. I don't like his style (tons of speed, but not enough technique or ability to exploit that speed), which may have me overly critical.

I'm not forgetting or ignoring anything, 1 good game in 3-4 bad ones seems about right measured over last season.

If he's still the Moses from last season he'll have 1 cracking game for every 3-4 abysmal ones. Here's hoping

This may not be ideal for him, but he has to learn to cope with competition like this. I understand you're a fan of KDB, as am I, you may even be right about a loanspell but this is a Chelsea board, with Chelsea fans. You give the impression you care more for KDB than the club. I'm sure there's plenty of threads on Belgian fora where you can vent your frustration =)

We're not the only top4 team that is gonna lose over there. They're a very decent team. Had a good deal of possession and created shitloads but didn't finish. That's football for you

Thing is, different players thrive in different systems. This is Mourinho's Chelsea, not the Belgian NT. KDB is more talented than Schurrle (not so sure about Willian), does that mean he'll play over Schurrle most of the time? No. He'll have to adapt to what Mourinho wants from players on his position and work from there. He's strongwilled, I'm sure he'll force himself into the starting 11 eventually.

ITT: people who appear to know Courtois but actually don't (with some exceptions) It's simple tbh, I'm convinced that the vast majority involved in this discussion don't watch Athletico games at all. If they did, they wouldn't say "he's not quite as good yet", "he'd need to fight for a spot at any club". The comparisons to De Gea are pointless and futile, he's twice the keeper De Gea is. I challenge you to find a single Athletico fan who rates De Gea over Courtois. In my opinion, he's as good as any keeper in the world atm, and would walk into any elite club's first team without problems whatsoever. I wouldn't be against the prospect of him fighting with Petr for the nr1 spot next season, as I honostly think he'd come out the victor pretty quickly. I'm trying to refrain from commenting on Belgian players lately as it's a trend on this forum to play the 'biased' card at every chance possible but I had to here.
