There's a difference between what's best for us and what's best for him though. In the long run this loanspell is good for him AND us, but for our title aspirations it would've been a relieve to have Lukaku as an option

Listen, it has indeed been poor so you've got the right to be pissed, but why do you think things won't change? We managed to play a lot better with lesser quality last season, there is no reason to think a manager like Mourinho won't find a way to get them to play properly. We'd be a LOT better, if we had some sort of resting point in the centre of the pitch. A player who can keep the ball and dictate tempo, it's so obvious. Our CM's should be the backbone of the team, instead we look spineless.

Hazard needs to start on the bench for a few games, he's completely out of form and this will hurt his confidence. Mourinho needs to sort his team out, losing while playing risky nice football is one thing, losing while being dominated by Basel is nothing short of embarrasing. Oscar was brilliant though.

He hasn't been good, but from some comments on here you'd think he's useless. For some reason the expectations for him are ridiculous compared to others in the same age/prizebracket. I even read stuff like 'WHEN the fuck he is gonna show us why we paid for him'. Have you missed last season? Have you missed the BAYERN game 2 games ago?
