I'm not slagging of Schurrle am I? I'm saying he has been decent. Probably comparable to Hazards performances, albeit in his own different, energetic kinda way. I just don't think he's been as good as some are saying. It was indirectly aimed at Leif's post which Stingray quoted. Anyway, I don't want to make a fuss, you know what I mean.

The discussion is about player spots in the team. They both play for Chelsea, both play AML and both are expensive signings. Comparisons in this case are completely warranted. Especially considering the difference in treatment from our fanbase on here. If you see that as "Schurrle vs Hazard", so be it. I like Schurrle btw, just to make that clear.

Obviously they CAN pass forward, everyone can. Finding yourself space to pick out the right pass is another matter. Point is, our pivot lacks quality. Mainly talking about Lampard/Mikel, I don't necessarily rate Ramires as a player in the pivot.

The main difference is the amount of defensive work required by Mourinho and Mou's style in general.

Get a proper left back, a playmaker for our pivot who can manage FORWARD passes and watch all our attacking players improve, not just Hazard.

Which won't happen, not consistently anyway. Point is Lampard has been useless lately, Kevin could possibly fill that void in the centre of the pitch. I never liked him on the wings anyway, he's slow and his crosses will rarely connect with our strikers or one of our midgets up front.

He deserved to be dropped 4 weeks ago but has been better up until City, and today he was ok, despite the players around him. I find it hard to fathom how the player who creates the most chances in the PL can be labeled absolute bollocks, I guess it's just me.

It's some of the fans making such a fuss, all you read from Kevin in reliable media is that he's working hard on training and that he realises he has to work for his spot here.

I get that your passionate about KDB but the defending is getting a bit ridiculous now bro. It was harsh from Mou to drop him so early but he hasn't been great in the cameo's he got after. Out of the 6 Am's there was always gonna be at least one who'd barely play. It's KDB and for the time being it's justified.

Despite most fellow countrymen claiming KDB was our most influential player during the WC qualifications, Witsel was by far our best player. He's a physical beast, but in contrast to Felliani for example his technical abilities are very good. A modern midfielder who can play anywhere in the centre of the pitch. I've never understood his Zenit move, even though they're a very decent team it shows lack of ambition. I'm convinced he can be a great asset to various topclubs and I would absolutely love having him here.

He isn't doing himself any favors unfortunately. He needs games, a loan is necessary. I'm convinced he'll come good, being one of the prime performers in the Bundesliga for a year can't be a fluke.
