wow, how about that for an undeserved lead

I read this exact quote a few weeks ago, most likely in this thread
-
That mullet though
-
haha

What are you trying to say? As good as our defence looks on paper they were Championship level yesterday. Even Matic had an offday. He conceded 5 goals, I understand it's hard not to blame the keeper in some way but he didn't do much wrong really; was mostly Brana and Cahill being Mongs.

No

There's a very thin line there, but fine, have the last word :tophat:
-
Listen mate, I didn't mean to start a quarrel with you, you don't think it's that much of a deal, fine, but try and understand the passion we feel as fans towards club legends like Frank too and don't just dismiss a VERY large portion of our fanbase as dramaqueens. edit; happy new year, one would forget
-
Yea I'm sure most Chelsea fans are happy and proud right now. Get some perspective please. You don't do this to the fans you supposedly love and adore. I wonder what the bright side will be when he helps us lose the title.
-
Yea all these people are shameful, you are the only one who's right.
-
Wow, sour taste in my mouth right now. Wonder how Terry feels about this. He's basically saying he doens't care about the Chelsea legend status. Here's hoping he gets boo'ed next month.
-
This guy being a prime example
-
Did he really say that? I think it's sad that you can't just be an amazing player anymore and be regarded world class, without scoring 30-40 goals a season. This new generation of fans/pundits have developed a distorted view of the game where one has to be an absolute goal machine to even be considered one of the best. It's not even like he doesn't score goals, if he continues like this (and gets a bit mor pens ) he'll have 20 goals which is not too shabby for a wide player to be fucking honest.

COME ON
-
Definately not the best but not bad by any means, seems emotions are running high at the minute
-
So you're saying we're not as lucky? Go outside, put your head in the snow before making more silly comments like 'there goes our title'. It's knee-jerk as fuck and embarrasing. We're comfortably better then anyone else together with City, it was always gonna be a 2 horse race. Not just you btw, people need to get a grip, Soton is a good side and we were royally fucked by the ref.

Someone having a bad day
-
What makes DDG better? I'd like to hear your reasoning. I realise he's one of the reasons why ManU are where they are in the league, but that doesn't make him the better keeper if the other keeper has been virtually flawless albeit less spectacular. Neuer fair enough
-
Odd thing to say after such a complete performance from everyone. Matic is top 2-3 in the world on his position.

You dismiss the importance of statistics in the second bit of your post, yet you're trying to prove Hazard is inferior or equal to players like Callejon and Menez by posting statistics. How about you watch a Chelsea game and observe the player?
-
I disagree. Think he's comfortably our most important player together with Cesc and Matic. Put any of these 3 out and we look a different (read: worse) team. Edit: i don't think 'he can do more' is an argument btw.
-
He was talking about the Chelsea team. Said the Hazard today is far from being Chelsea's best player. Stop bringing Messi or Ronaldo into the equation, they're leagues above the rest. Saying he has to make 3-4 steps before being considered better than Cesc or Costa is absolutely ludicrous.
-
lol. 'This is not enough.' For who? You and your bullshit expectations? Think he is enough for pretty much every other Chelsea fan.

The Belgian Wonderkids and Upcoming Prospects Thread
Weckerz replied to LukakutoStamford's topic in Football Chat
The 'hype' around him was a result of his World Cup. Noone would know him now if he wasn't called up, even in Belgium (normal fans that is, not us football junkies). I'd say his play on the ball is one of his stronger attributes, kinda the opposite of Lukaku tbh. He has yet to play well consistently for Lille though, he has a dry spell at the moment and was recently booed by his own fans after missing a penalty. He's overrated but he has got a lot of potential, he's still in his teens.
