beast in the good or bad way?

I am one of those who does not think Hulk is a good signing. Not for his footballing ability, because he is really a gifted player a very good one, but for the development of the current squad and the academy. If Hulk signs for us that will mean that the young players (Sturridge, KDB, Kakuta, Marin and even Lukaku) will be presented with a wall. I know a lot of you can say it's good because that means there will be more competition for places and etc. But no I actually think that Hulk signing for us means Sturridge and probably Kakuta leaving the club. You can say what you want about Sturridge, that he is selfish and what not, but he is also playing outside his normal position which is a CF or ST. Bottom Line: Hulk will be a gamble for the club, we don't even know if he will actually work. By signing him we are sacrificing the development of the young players that have been growing in our system. I think if we deploy them periodically with the team we can re-create the Busby Babes and even surpass them with the young ones we have in our ranks. Chelsea just needs to give them a chance. Just look at Bertrand's development in the first team.

This is a forum to express opinions. If you don't like my opinion please disagree with an statement not with some witty remark and telling me to stop posting. Not me nor you are running the Club right? I have a point of view, you have yours, Roman has his and it's the one that counts at the end and with the other members of the board that take decisions.

We don't need Hulk actually, we have Daniel Sturridge, Kevin de Bruyne, Gael Kakuta (can play on the right side a la Robben), Ramires and Marin. I think the club needs to grow with the young ones instead of always neglecting them for mid/late twenty year olds with some sort of fame.

I HONESTLY don't want Hulk signing for us we need to promote players from the academy for the sake of the club's future. The answer can't be always BUY BUY BUY. Sadly a lot of Chelsea fans I have see have this mentality and that is because they're more concerned about playing Fifa 13 with "good ranked" players than what it's actually good for the club. Regarding Ramires... I don't actually see where he fits if it's not in the attacking half of the middle field. Maybe he will become a rotation player.
-
Whoever keeps rooting for Hulk to join doesn't understand that we will need to lay off someone like Sturridge or simply neglect time to him and to KDB and Lukaku
-
so what is our formation going to look like with if this is the only signing and marin

FUN FACT One of my classmates from accounting class, he is from ukraine and he actually knows him because he goes to Northeastern University here in boston.
-
so basically Chelsea said bye bye to the portugal/africa era and hello to the belgium/brazil era more or less... 3 Belgium players (possibly 4 Hazzard?) Luiz and Ramirez with a chance of Hulk and Lucas Moura... Interesting EVEN THO i think Chelsea should promote more academy players with the likes of Kane and gael coming up the ranks and who knows when Mc Josh will be ready to play
-
what about having a strong defense and a killing attack? Ivanovic - Cahill/Luiz - Terry - Bertrand Mikel Ramirez - McEachran/Mata - KDB Sturridge Torres/Lukaku I would like to see this
-
I guess people forgot about gael?
-
well that was an interesting ending to the PL
-
why everything needs to be bought so it will bring success? I believe it needs to be taught.
-
^ This, just look at RVP or Messi, both started at the wing but got molded into a more central role and both bag a lot of goals.
-
funny how sturridge invited us to sit with him on the bench...
-
Apparently he has a knee injury now :s http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7687495/Drogba-out-of-Gunners-clash
-
As much as it hurts, we need to let Drogba go now or retire. He knows this is his last chance to win the UCL with Chelsea and that's why he have had that reignited fire in his body, he is giving it all and I can say after this season I will never forget Drogba

Cahill was sheer class, and that save from Cech at the end, unbelievable. KTBFFH

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1050513/tom-henning-ovrebo:-my-refereeing-errors-cost-chelsea-in-2009?cc=5901 Oh Ovrebo I have only cried twice, once in the 2008 Champions League lost to Man U and after this game a couple of tears (as I was with my friends but nobody noticed ), so much anger so much in stake, and for your mistakes we lost, but this, this is just a gentleman, I salute you sir, nothing can be done for the past but at least you admitted your mistakes and I can finally have some closure on this. Referee in the Korea Vs Spain in the 2002 WC game I'm still waiting for you to come clean... Just what a gentleman. And right now when we most need it.
-
Movie theater? wat?
-
He just said he didn't wanted to get loaned again! We need him playing next year. http://dlvr.it/1RxzgY
-
nah i still think he shouldn't, the goal was Cudicini's foult for not covering his far post well, still a well taken free kick. But yeah most of his corners go to waste.
-
I don't care how we win now
-
I don't want to win like this
-
Please stop taking corners and free kicks...
