Let me put it this way. The game didn't have any goals, cards, or real chances (bar a chance for mata in the first half and one for torres in the second). Heck the first foul of the match came at min 48. So I advice you to do something more fun with your time. Like going to the dentist or nailing your tongue to a table.

Unless we hire in Spain a coach who can show our strikers and midfielders how to finish a chance, we are defenitely drawing this one.

With all due respect, I think that comment could not be more wrong. Our team performance was quite good today and that is evident by the fact that Norwich failed to create more than a single chance that came early in the first half. And even in attack I felt the players linked up rather well, which is why we had 19 shots in the game. I think our problem today was individula performances. None of our midfielders found the composure to play the killer pass in the penalty area; and at the same time our forwards weren't clinical enough to finish some decent chances. If anything, really, our performance was a bit too much of a "team performance" in a sense that the players were guilty of over-passing ball on the edge of the penalty area instead of someone attempting a shot from outside occasionally.

Yes. My defense was shite without my best defender. You managed 5 chances which is 4 times more than anyone else this season.

A few points on the game: 1) The performance was not as bad as everyone is making out (but that is expected). I thought the team performance, especially defensively, was not half bad. But it was the individual performances that were way below standards. 2)I think AVB played the high-line defense for most of the game, which is a defenite positive imo. It may be disasterous against strong teams but I think we need this kind of defense against weaker teams to help creat more chances. 3)Once again our lack efficiency in converting chances cost us the points. We are paying too high a price this season for not having a descent striker. 4) Let's make something clear: Torres did not have a good game no matter how desperate we are. He was very unconfident, his touches were terrible as was his movement. I did not see him make a single run into the box off the ball. His finishing wasn't good either. 5) David Luiz is a ray of sunshine. MoTM by a mile.

That is exactly the first thing that sprung to my mind when I saw that article. But this is the Jan market so I wouldn't be surprised if we did pay that amount for a player like him.
