Actually 2 years ago we made the double over them without conceding any goal. It was only last season when our form against the top teams went down hill.
Yes well England vs Sweden usually provides a very entertaining spectacle such as the 2006 World cup 2-2 draw. England always finds it very hard to beat Sweden.
Capello said he will start. Any chance you can convince the swedish defenders to give him a goal? Maybe then he'll go to the Euros in stead of Welbeck.
Well I guess it depends on the player's character and state of mind. Professionalism also plays a part, as long as the player realizes he has a job to do, he should have the determination to do it regardless.
It's amazing people still say that he does not play-well/care for the England international squad. I think his goal yesterday was in all the doubters' faces. Thoughts?
Frankie did a great job yesterday and most importantly got the goal that mattered. This guy never ceases to amaze. While the daily fail never ceases to be consistently ridiculous, this time claiming Frank is opting for a move to LA Galaxy: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2060762/Exclusive-Frank-Lampard-wanted-replace-David-Beckham-LA-Galaxy.html
Full time, 1-0 England win! Who would've thought? Great defensive performance from the players especially Scotty Parker; But Capello will no doubt take all credit.
