  1. I'll ask Alex to create that category if you promise to nominate me!
  2. Do you by any chance have super vision?! It literally took me 4 replays to tell that it had crossed the line. There was absolutely no chance the lines would spot that.
  3. Well the annual forum awards are still open, if you hurry you can still nominate me to win that!
  4. Completely agree. I made the same point after the Tottenham game. Had Luiz been playing instead of Cahill, we would not have conceded that first goal.
  5. That doesn't change anything. That doesn't even have to do with any point I made. Do defenders usually just let opposition players skip past them?
  6. 1) I don't dislike Luiz, in fact, I love Luiz! I think he's a bad midfielder, but I still love him. 2) What I stated was a fact. Go back and see it, it was around the 52 min or something. I'm rewatching the match and I just saw it again. It was not just lazy, it was ridiculous, like he just stopped playing and let an opposition player dribble past him on the edge of the area twice in 20 seconds. 3) Because Mikel is criticized for his slowness to react at times and because people like to make the scapegoat, had he done that he would have abused for weeks. So step down from your high horse and discuss the incident (if you wish) rather than preach about ethics.
  7. So we should sell him because of that incident? What about the million times his experience has saved the team? How about his experience that even got us to that game against Barcelona with great performances against Napoli (and a goal) and Benfica? What about the experience of Cech and Drogba that won us the CL? Honesty, I'm not sure what you're arguing? Is it that experience is not important? Or is it that JT is not good enough? Look at the match today, he had an excellent performance and was miles better than Cahil. My point is, you can't get a better squad player for 8m and more importantly you will lose the experience and leadership sills that he could pass onto other players on the training ground which, to me, is invaluable. I hope his injury is not bad, he looked in a lot of pain
  8. There was a Villa attack where he literally just stood a let a player dribble past him..twice! If Mikel had done this, he'd been crucified on the spot
  9. Anyone else shed a tear when he scored that second? It was just an explosion of emotions with winning the game in the fashion that we did, securing top 4, Frank breaking the record, with him leaving in two games...Just an amazing felling. Thank you for everything, you legend
  10. Oooh, so much hate! No that means nothing. Luiz has constantly been sloppy and lacking positional awareness when he's played in midfield.
  11. Of course money matters, but there is huge difference between a club that is oriented about money and advertisement like Anzhi for example and a club that is oriented about the football and the fans like Dortmund. If I were mata and the board tells me that I have to play two more games after the longest season of my life just so they could sell some T-shirts I'd feel like the club thinks of me as just a tool to get money, not a person and footballer.
  12. Same here to some extent, especially in the conservative Islamic part of our society.
  13. But the football club is not just about money. Making your players feel that the club is looking after them not just profit and that they belong here rather than just that they only work here is worth, imo, more than the 2.5m we're getting from those two matches.
  14. Arsenal lost the players that knew how to scrape results and win trophies. Experience helps you a lot if you want to win. Us Chelsea fans should know that after last year.
  15. The team needs him, his experience, his commitment, his leadership.. We have a lot of young players in our team and if we keep getting rid of experience players like JT, we're going to end up like Arsenal with no experience on how to grind out results or win trophies. JT is the perfect footballing role model for all the youngsters we have.
  16. Yes, I'm sure the players that have played 70+ games this season for club and country are very happy about it..
  17. Why would we sell JT. He is priceless to this football club on the pitch and on the training ground as well.
  18. 5. There are still the post-season shit that Gourlay came up with..Smh. I honestly don't get the pessimism. Villa are practically safe so we want to win this much more than they do.
  19. Has he really ever had a 'great' game in midfield?
  20. Well on the other hand, you've got the eastern societies that take marriage too 'seriously' where couples stay together even after they stop loving each other and their marriage is practically killing them inside. And again, most of the times, the children pay the price.
  21. Come to think of it, weird how no one tried him in the number nine position when Torres was shit and Drogba did not care about the PL matches..
  22. And I thought being nominated to best article writer was a surprise!
  23. I can imagine people with tattoos, but not glasses for some reason..
