And who was the alternative we had? The only season we had a proper alternative in Azpi, Ivanovic ended up playing at CB. I've been saying that Iva should not play at RB ever since I joined here, so it's hardly "jumping on the bandwagon". The game highlighted exactly what's wrong with him playing at RB. I've explained why I never want to see him at RB again: Do you have a football answer to that? Because "I'm embarrassed by your opinion" is not really a valid argument.

Ramires' pace and runs and his ability to finish make him pretty special. His goals in big games made him on of the highest rated midfielders in 2012. As for De Gea, he was voted into the team of the year in the season when he was benched for two months because of his bad performances..allow me to disagree. 60 minutes. You're making quite some conclusions based on 60 minutes of football. Our style under Mourinho has barely changed from our what our style was Under Benitez and that's why we're still struggling against teams that sit deep and pack the center.

That is in no way based on yesterday, alone. I've said many times that I don't want to see him at RB. He doesn't close down crosses, he gets turned way too easily and he gets beaten for pace. He's not a RB, he's a CB.

A shot on target can be a goal, or a shot from 30 yards that barely reached the keeper. Yes we had 6 shots on target in all, but can you point out a single clear chance we had in the opening 75 mins other than the OG and the offside goal?

Of course, Jose knows he made mistakes. He's still getting to know the players and I think he'll make a few more before he figures out what works and what doesn't.

I predict a win. I think we'll continue to do very good against teams that attack us and struggle against teams that park the bus just like last season. Our squad is superior to united's and Jose should out-smart Moyes when it comes to tactics. What I'm worried about is team selection as Jose doesn't seem to know the players too well yet. At least against Hull, he got involved more. Took on players, and actually provided width on the flanks. His (and the rest of the team's) insistence on playing through the packed center even though there are tons of spaces out wide was beyond reason. Apart from the first ten minutes and the great run for the goal, he created and provided very little for the team. He was by no means our worst player, and not even in the worst 5-6 players last night, but it is scrappy games like yesterday that you look at someone like Hazard to make a difference, and unfortunately he did not.
