This is not aimed at you Hutch, but I've seen quite a lot of people make a similar claim, and while I've made and explained my argument against him playing in the middle a lot of times, honestly I haven't read anything convincing about why David should in midfield. I'd love to properly discuss this with someone who does think Luiz should be played in the middle.

That's great, but a bit surprising to read, tbh. All the WBA fans that I have met were criticizing Romelu throughout the season.

He had some of his best game, but not his best season. He had some excellent matches but also some shocking displays (Gama against West ham most recently). Besides he hasn't been the best defender in the league, there are players like Nastasic and Shawcross that have been much more consistent than him.

Footballing reasons aside, it's only normal that united have the most number of players in that team. Admitting that the league was won by a team of average players does create good publicity..

Don't you mean "Clean sheet Cech"?! LOL it just means that he took a knock on the leg, but the knock is on the muscle not the bone, so it hurts a lot at first and cause the leg to feel numb and tingly. Nothing serious at all.

Read that Rafa said it was only a dead leg and would be fit for Basel. Not 100% sure though.
