Well tbf, after the Swansea disaster, Josh came back to Chelsea and had an excellent preseason (I remember he had two assist against Seattle) so I have my hopes up that he would bounce back from this. And he has gained a lot from this loan, especially physically, so it's not all bad.

Oscar vs Juve is the goal of the decade, let alone this season. One of the best I've ever seen. If this goal was in a major final/semifinal, it would have gone down in history.

I think Jose has lots of other ways for sending Roman messages other than publicly. It was too obvious to be a hint, it was clearly, imo, intended to create havoc in the media.

Even the Spanish media are talking about Jose making hints about leaving and Ronaldo's comments about not caring about Jose which exactly what Jose intended.

Why do you think he would still be good in central midfield? He has lost most of the physical abilities that once made him the best central midfielder in the world. Like I said above, his best performances for Madrid this season has been at RB, and even then he offered very little offensively because he does not have the legs to make runs up and down the flank. How do you expect him to do well in central midfield where more physical ability is required?

It's not about concentration, if you play sport you'll know that whenever you're not fit or too tired your brain takes the decision, but your feet and body just take that extra fraction of a second longer to respond than usual.

Don't get me wrong, I agree. Kalas has the most potential between the three and is the most ready. But I haven't read anything to suggest that the club will bring him back this summer.

There were strong whispers from the club that Omeruo will be back next season after his performances in the AFCON. I think he'll get his chance in preseason, you never know.. Haven't heard anything about the club wanting to recall Kalas, though.

There's no doubt he's an exceptional player, but he often seems to under perform in big matches while Messi, in comparison, has his best performances in some of the biggest matches he plays.

Well he's not young anymore and he's spent half of his career playing while injured!

He had a great game yesterday. Probably Real's best player along with Modric. But it's worth thinking about that all his good performances with Real have come at RB.
