  1. Damn I'm so nervous! Haven't been this nervous for a match in a while. Come on you blues!
  2. Yeah that crossed my mind but it's one thing against a smaller team at home. Huge risk against Spurs at the lane.
  3. He posted an picture of himself on snapchat getting treatment with the 'injured' emoji. The issue is that we rely very heavily on our wing backs in building our attacks. Putting a right-footed player on the left would seriously slow us down because he would naturally need an extra touch just to get the ball on his right foot and that is without even getting into the quality we will loose going forward. I can't see an easy/obvious solution unfortunately...
  4. I have absolute no idea what Conte will do with Luis injured. Does he stay with 3-4-3? If so who plays left wing back? Does he trust Aina to play such a match or play Iva which could be potentially disastrous? Or does he switch formations all together? If so to what? The 4-2-3-1 that failed miserably against Liverpool and Arsenal or the 4-4-2 we saw in preseason? Big calls for Antonio... EDIT: Alonso, not Luis because this isn't 2015!
  5. That wasn't cringe-worthy at all.... Isn't he a Chelsea fan, though? Crouch that is, not Gayle of course.
  6. Has to be WIllian for restoring our lead twice with two excellent finishes.
  7. FINALLY! This is why Costa is the best striker in the league this season.
  8. OMG THAT save from Azpi!! I wanted a few things for Christmas.....a heart attack was NOT one of them!
  9. Never thought I'd say this, but we should bring Iva on. We need someone marking Crouch on those long balls.
  10. WHY in the world is Costa taking our FK?!!
  11. Is it me of does this have "Moses red card" written all over it?
  12. Bloody hell they got lucky there. I'm worried because they're blocking all our passes between the lines.
  13. Weird, for some reason I thought this was tomorrow......and that we were playing Stoke not Egypt!
  14. Mate, it's more than just bizarre that you even still have such a thing as "knighthood"....and a fucking queen!!
  15. Of course not, don't be silly. If that happens it could only be because of some prophecy Sybill Trelawney made but that we don't know about because the death eaters destroyed most of the records of prophecies when they raided the department of mysteries in the ministry of magic Dude, I will defend, with all I have, your right to hold any belief you want. But you do not have the right to force me to respect that belief and you certainly don't have the right to force anyone to accept those beliefs. You can't expect to have a discussion with me starting from your beliefs and assuming that they are true. What exactly do you expect me to say except that I find your beliefs ridiculous? We can't have any discussion except based on facts.
  16. Sure, if it would have ended at that. But literally nothing in the history of this conflict suggests that Israel would have abided by that agreement just like they have set out to destroy the Oslo agreement from the very first day it was signed.
  17. Obama went so much further than Bush in taking away people's rights, handing power to Wall Street and the corporate sector and even in war. But he can't be criticized because he's the darling of the democratic party. Yeah, a guy with a video titled "Prophecy update" sure sounds reliable! There is actually a solution in the form of a treaty that both the Israeli government and the Palestinian authorities agreed to and signed. It is called the Oslo agreement. They agreed to a two-state solution based on the 67 borders and splitting Jerusalem. That makes the settlements illegal under international law because they break the international agreement that Israel signed. It's really that simple.
  18. Yeah, sure, every single nation on earth is biased against Israel... OR MAYBE, just maybe, anyone who doesn't have irrational biases about the issue (from ancient mythology for example) but rather with actual knowledge of the facts of the situation will naturally be against the breaking of international law. Just a thought...
  19. Well this thread went full crazy on this last page! Thanks for the reminder though of the devastating lunacy of Christian extremism... Regarding the UN resolution, the funny part is that it's actually more pro-Israel than pro Palestinian. The resolution condemns both the settlements as well as the Palestinian resistance. It basically equates occupation with the resistance to it. The resolution doesn't propose a punishment if/when Israel continues to build the settlements that break international law, it's own treaties and sometimes even its own laws! It's basically just saying - "hey, maybe you should try to abide by international law and stop down that which literally all the countries on earth say is illegal!" - "You fucking antisemite!" Regarding Obama, I despise his guts, he gets away with murder (literally) because of his "charisma" but the actual criticism he gets is just mind boggling and his relation with Israel is prime example. This resolution was the first one that the UN has passed on Israel-Palestine for 8 years. 8 years because the Obama administration has been blocking every resolution on Israel-Palestine in the UN for 8 years against official US policy. An almost identical resolution has passed in the UN under every single US president since the 70s, but of course it is the president who gave Israel 38 billion dollars, more than anything any country has ever received in history, gets criticized as 'anti-Israel' No US president in history has EVER been more pro-Israel than Obama. Even before he became president, in his time as senator, he only ever wrote a a single bill: during the Israeli assault on Lebanon in 2006 he wrote a bill to emergency rearm Israel so they can continue their indiscriminate bombings and war crimes.
