Cheers guys for you words of affection. You all take care I'm not dead, Tom! Not yet at least We'll catch up on twitter and Facebook, mate. I could never deprive TC of such a club legend! I feel it would not be right for me to have a post of responsibility here when I am not active enough to fulfill the role. However, if the staff wish my assistance in anything, I'm always happy to lend help.

Thanks SJ. You take care too. Thanks for your concern, hun it's nothing like that, though. For you, I'll endure as many hugs as you want! We'll still talk on twitter. Love you too, sweetie

Just a heads up that I'll be leaving the forum for some time (possibly permanently) for personal reasons. I'll still visit every once in a while and might even post but I just feel that I can't be active on a daily basis anymore. As a result, I don't think I can any longer hold my position in the staff. My fellow staff member will obviously decide if and how they wish to replace me. Thanks for everything. Nour.

Sigh...sometimes I genuinely feel the quality here has dropped below that facebook comments. Gets really annoying reading the same whinny fickle reactions over and over again...

Shots? That's more of a nuke or an H bomb, tbh!

What a rocket to basically kill off the tie! Apart from the goal he's been impressive. Incredibly dynamic and energetic. Technically sound on the ball as well.

So, how many actually heard or read about this terrorist attack in Germany today where a politician's car has been blown up? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3176246/Car-belonging-politician-supports-refugees-blown-amid-massive-rise-far-right-attacks-Germany-migrants-continue-pour-Europe.html

He's a great guy, a top professional and a very good left back, but it was a HUGE mistake for the club to sign him last season. Happy for him that he got to experience the EPL and won a couple of titles. Really hope that the club managed to regain most of the huge investment we made last season. Thanks for everything and best of luck, Filipe

Non-league Bashley manager and former Chelsea defender, David Stride, has been sacked after just 40 days at the club due to "a run of poor pre-season results and lack of player signings". It is believed that the owner of Bashley Football Club is a regular member of the TalkChelsea forum. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33674078

Literally just went back to 2010 in the general chat section. Unless that thread was not created by manpe, it seems to have completely disappeared! BTW, try going about 16 pages back in the general chat. There are some hilarious similar threads!
-
Haha it was hilarious. Didn't you have the highest score? I remember you did
-
IIRC WHS had the best voice!

Haha. Were you here during manpe's karaoke/singing website period or was that before your time? That was hilarious on so many levels!

Honestly, Vitesse are the ones who should have a Chelsea flag on their kits for all the free players they've got from us, not the other way around!
-
Might be worth a bet on United for the title then, Ron

Our defense is not world class. Not even close. Cahill is an average CB, Zouma still has a lot to learn and a lot of experience to earn. Iva is a CB who thinks he's a ST playing at RB. JT is limited by his lack of pace and that is only emphasized each year. The only world class defender we have at the moment is Azpi. United's defense lacks experience and world class players but they are all good, physically strong defenders with technical ability. Our defense looks a lot better than it actually is because our midfielders have more defensive duties than most teams.

The challenge for Van Gaal is to integrate everyone into the system. It's never easy to bring several new big players into a team.
-
Their defense is not weak. Individually, ours and City's defense is not better, after all, Cahill and Ivanovic are starters for us! In attack, I'm pretty sure they will sign another striker but even if they don't, Rooney is capable of getting 15-20 goals as a striker easily.

They have more quality in midfield than any team in the league as well as a better bench than everyone else.
