http://www.dailystar.co.uk/columnists/view/225201/Smug-boss-Andre-Villas-Boas-is-far-too-touchy-squeaky/ "There is only one way to silence your critics – and it’s to win big football matches. Lift a trophy." I completely agree with this article. Just because Mourinho did it doesnt mean any tom dick and harry could do it. The media will lick his boots to be in his press conference cus he had that aura about him. In his first season he had just one loss, and in 4 tournaments at this time one of which he won in Feb. What has AVB done so far? I hope he just shuts it because if he loses to Man City, the Media is going to let it rip at him.... -
Lets see this scenario. 2 years from now Chelsea dont want to sell and Oriol wants to stay but Barca say they want him back for 15m. This is modern day slavery. Infact Buy Back option is triggered only if Chelsea plan to offload him and Barca want him. Then they can get him for the deal agreed and Chelsea have no right to ask for 30m .

Taking all the Champions League injustice and heartbreak in my stride I believe the Universe has its own way of correcting things. I believe there will come a time when we will be the first team ever to Win a Hattrick of Champions League. Amen to that!!

And he falls for it. Just like on an online forum where idiots bait and another idiot bites. -
Not Really Inspirational. But it does give you a message Love and Respect Your Parents. Dont take them for granted. You are what you are because of them. Could be too late by the time you realize it.

I wish AVB could just shut up and get on with his job instead of bashing everyone from the media, to ex players, to opposition managers to pundits in his press conferences. Looking a bit silly now. People are going to talk. You ignore them and get on with it. Win the Title and then let it rip -

I for one LOVED the "Us against the World" seige mentality that Mou implemented. AVB is trying to do the same. -
Not really? The style has to change once Drogs leaves. 4-3-3 was built precisely for Drogba. 4-2-3-1 should be the formation next season. With rami/Romeu and Merieles sitting front of the defense while Mata plays behind Torres flanked by Studge and Hazard

Unfortunalely. It's a shame that a Chelsea fan would write such drivel about the manager and the club he supports. Not gonna believe the shit he posts again. And here I was trying to defend him..... -
For the sake of the the future of this club Drogs has to leave. He is 34 and we have some exciting young players in line. The transition shouldn't stop. This is where Fergie is so good. He doesn't wait for his players to have a poor season before being sold. Nistelrooy, Ronaldo, Beckham, were all sold after a good season

You don't always have to be the best side in Europe to win the champions league. We have found that out in the years gone by. Liverpool and inter Milan were on te cusp of getting kicked out of the champions League in the earlier stages only to go on and win it. WE NEED LUCK!!! Ironically we will win it when we r least expected to win it.

I agree with Henrique on this. The 'Slap in the face' comment was over the top. He has beaten Valencia at home and did what was expected of him. The slap in face comment would have been approriate had he won the Title or Champions League as everyone initially had believed he was naive and will lose the dressig room to player power and that he was only a scout to them hence won't get respect bla bla bla... -
No player on earth can replace Drogba at Chelsea. He is a legend and a unique striker in a league of his own. The man has pace power and is pure brute. But his time at Chelsea is up at the end if this season. Even if he scores 40 goals. We need the new brigade to take over. And the man to take over from Drogba is Torres. I am surprised Chelsea fans have concluded that Torres will never be the same player. Have they forgotten the first two years of Drogba at the club? The man was booed and taunted at by his own fans. One of the most Hated players but his third season changed it all and the rest is history. In case of Torres it has not even been one year at the club. I am confident he will come good next season. He is only 27 same age as Drogba in his 2nd season at Chelsea. But there won't be another Drogba. Chelsea is touring US next summer and one player I wanted to meet was Drogba but sadly I don't think he will be with us

I was just being sarcastic. I'd rather put Kalou ahead of Torres when it comes to having an impact sub on -

Like I said, the only reason why I believe this article is because of Rob Beasley. -

Scolari issue was that his training lacked intensity...This was pointed by the players in October and later by Roman's advisers which meant he had already lost player's respect as some players went to the board. Now in this situation, if you try to enforce reverse psychology it is going to back fire. which it did. . Nobody knows what happened between him and Drogba. He banished Drogba to the reserves, he did not allow Drogba to go to France to recover from his injury, etc etc. Add to all this Scolari's English... -

It worked with Lampard didnt it? He benched him and took him off at half time at OT and Lampard came back strong in October...Like I said, massaging egos of these big players isnt going to help. Carlo did it last season. And you saw the results. -

AVB laid into every First Teamers one by one according to the article, therefore assuming it involved players who played against Liverpool and played against the "Mighty" Wolves, lost twice to Liverpool at Home in 10 days. 2 better than normal performances? I am sorry but did you hear the crowd chanting Torres's name at 65 minutes while a Chelsea Legend was leading the line against Wolves? Being average doesnt mean better than normal performances. And telling players like Drogba and Terry already what they know which is "You guys are top players" hardly helps. Carlo was a nice man but we needed someone like Mourinho you can put these players in their places. You have to hurt their ego. that is what Reverse Psychology is all about. -

Like I said, you may look at it suspiciously, and point towards the timing. But I dont care about the timing. Had he printed this on Sunday you still would have spoken about the timing cus the news about Alex and Anelka was all over then and you would have said, here we go again THE SUN apparently made up the story just after the news about Anelka and Alex broke out... So when do you think would have been an appropriate time to post tthis news about what happened at the training ground... -

Because according to Beasley, the "bust up" happened and that AVB laid into first teamers after the Liverpool loss in CC. See it all happened so sudden which gives further credence to what Beasley posted. And it contradicts your theory. If AVB knew that he was going to banish Alex and Anelka he wouldnt have played Anelka in CC 3 days before the Newcaslte game. -

How do you know that this happened after they handed in the transfer request? How do you know that they didnt hand out transfer request because they were banished to the reserves by the Manager? -

You may look at it suspiciously but when it comes to Chelsea I prefer going by what Rob Beasley has to say.
