Chelsea Star Michael Essien's Dad Lives In Poverty
warnie_666 replied to Badboy's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Its high time the media publishes a story on that Gayish Ronaldo's uneducated background or shit upbringing as told to us by our own Mr. Mourinho... -
Fair enough Pluto, I for one think only Alex and Belleti have been usefull of all the buys during out cristmas period, rest have given bits and pieces performaces. And Malouda was injured during that period.
-
Ok Elliot....coming back to Anelka, Pluto said tha Grant had the liberty to buy Anelka. I said fair enough. But you gotta see our team during the Christmas Period....Dint we win our matches then>? Wasnt that our most toughest period to cope? Did we have Anelka then? NO!!!...Anelka has come now, even against Tottenham game which was on 12th of January he came on as a sub. And we have played what? 3 games since then?....I never undermined Anelka's quality..you got that totally wrong buddy...My point was we coped during the Christmas period, without any NEW BUYS.....this when every one wondered how Chelsea's depleted squad would cope during the tough christmas period. Hence, Pluto's comment that Grant had the liberty to buy Anelka cus of which we have won games seems hollow to me. Rant Ended....PEACE!!!!

Again., Blinkered people wont blame Jose for the problems we had last year. Why are your cribbing about Jose not having Players at his disposal...? It was Jose who let them leave....He let Huth leave and Bought a peice of crap in Boulahrouz "the cannibal" who couldnt even play at RB...Jose had no reasons to deplete the squad...It was his mistake and he had to cope up with it. Now he learnt his mistake, and got Alex, and hes 3 other buys have been full of crap until l now....Absolutely crap. Sidwell, Pizzaro, and Benhaim....And your statement that the squad cover purchased has helped us stay alive in all 4 competitions is again pretty hollow. How many starts has sidwell had, Benhaim had and Pizzaro had in these last 2 months.??? The buys were soo crap that they werent even used in starting line up. Harldy may be 2-3 starts in last 2 months. Again another buy malouda has hit the injury scene in last 2 months, so your statment of Jose's buys this season has helped us stay ontop is baseless. Now, Coming to your view of Jose not being allowed to buy players last january. How many matches did Chelsea win in last Christmas period, and how many have we won this season.??? And as far as I know Anelka has just 2 starts and one sub for Chelsea ever since he came. So its clear that he hasnt helped us all that much during our trying times...Our trying times were mainly till January first week, we had 2 games every week, and no Lampard, Drogba, Terry, Lampard. Anelka has come now....and not during the Christmas period. And yes..we drew last season against, Reading at home, fulham at home and Aston Villa away....btw Aston villa was struggling last season, so was Fulham. Anyways......I am not a fan of Grant. I just dont like it when people choose to see Jose's positive quality and Grant's negative quality. There has to be same yardstick to judge both the managers.
-
No ones telling you to go down on your knees and hail him....but the man deserves some credit atleast....for his man management skills. Look at his positives over Jose's...he is not a cribber. Jose had Terry ,Cech out and he cribbed soo much so that it spoiled his rship with the owner. Now see Grant....He has lost the core of Chelsea(lamps, Drogs, Terry, Essien, and other 1st team players) ALL AT ONCE....and he is quietly doing his job and giving the club the results....it wants. And I appreciate that quality of Grant's. I still respect Jose and I still feel he is the best Manager in the world...but at the same time I wish to give credit to people who deserve it for what theyve done in the difficult times for the club. And I hope you do the same in future.
-
Hes a Beefy Bloke and it would need some challenge to send him out injured....
-
Is he the playmaker we were looking for? could well be playing in the Hole...
-
Ok so you want the manager to take over a squad of players selected by his predecessor mid way through the season when the club is on a verge of collapse, playing 2 games a week and change the entire style of play, and setup a new training regime...? ...No one can do that, to be honest ....had he done that we would have been in a mess rite now,..the players need atleast a month of training to get accustomed to the new system. And the set of players that we have arent suited for the Free flowing football. To play a certain system on the pitch you need certain type of players and No wonder we got Di Santo. Look at the squad of Arsenal, Manutd, Barcelona, and compare their squad players to that of ours. We have the Robust , Physical squad built to play efficient football where as these teams have Nimble footed players, dribblers, like ronaldinho, messy, iniesta, deco, Giggs, Ronaldo, Nani, Tevez, Hleb, Flamini, Diaby, Adebayaor........I for one am Glad he dint try to mess with the system that was in place...cus it was not the rite time to change it. But if you come out of your blinkered version of Jose, you will see that we are attacking more and winning more games than we did during Jose's rule. The only Bad remark about our Game this season is that we are letting in more goals and less clean sheets which is understandable cus we are playing a more attacking game with the same 4-3-3 formation that jose played with. But his game was built on defense. This Chelsea's game is built on Attack. Also, Care to take a look at Real Madrid. Their Coach Bernd Schuster has not changed anything from the Capello times. He is playing with the same formaton that Capello played with and almost the same squad of players. He hasnt messed up with Capello's style of play. And its paying devidends as they are 7 points clear of second placed team. Thank You Warnie...

From CFC net: Grant wins quietly where Mourinho failed loudly There is a hint of the emperor's new clothes about Avram Grant's Chelsea. Can anyone truly see the stylish football he insists the team are now playing? In other ways, however, there has been a marked break from the Jose Mourinho years and the change has underpinned the recent progress of the team. Rewind to last January. Consumed by frustration at dropped Premier League points over the Christmas period and his own faltering grip on absolute power, Mourinho lamented injury problems and lobbied hard for signings during the transfer window. Ultimately those signings did not come. Resentment crackled and the big bang to end all of his previous outbursts edged closer. It finally came last September when he was ousted as manager and replaced by Grant. This time the injuries have been worse and the African Cup of Nations has deprived Grant of a further four players, including two of the club's brightest stars, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien. If the biennial tournament had fallen last winter, Mourinho's views on the subject would have been eminently quotable. It isn't Grant's style to rail against events beyond his control. Nor is it his style to complain at all, or give the media the sound bites they enjoyed under his predecessor. He has refused to whinge about an injury list which currently deprives him of the heartbeat of the squad, John Terry and Frank Lampard, and has also left him without Petr Cech, Ricardo Carvalho, Michael Ballack and Florent Malouda for varying spells. The Israeli has griped about the criticisms of his functional football but he has largely maintained a low profile and, as importantly, kept the spotlight off his players and allowed them to get on with it. Although he has been favoured with new signings during the transfer window in the shape of Nicolas Anelka and Branislav Ivanovic - who lacks match fitness after arriving from the Russian league which has shut down for winter - his refusal to publicly demand reinforcements has bolstered the belief of his players. Roman Abramovich, the owner, though recognising Mourinho's motivational and tactical acumen, grew tired of his confrontational tendencies and egocentricity. There was even the feeling in the dressing room that the Portuguese wanted to hog the glory of major results. Grant has employed gentler means, and a sign of the times came after the Carling Cup semi-final second leg at Everton on Wednesday night. Mourinho did not fare well in semi-finals on Merseyside and after the Champions League defeats at Liverpool he left fireworks behind him with those complaints about "ghost" goals and only one team wanting to play. Such aggravation is conspicuous by its absence under Grant. There have been no sideshows on the touchline. He won the grudging admiration of some Evertonians after his team produced the textbook away-day performance to win 1-0, and 3-1 on aggregate, and there were even mutterings among them that Chelsea might also be a bet for Champions League success. Grant has taken more of a back seat, to the delight of Abramovich, his champion, and has given the players the stage. True professionals, they have responded. The results have been impressive. His team have won 21 and lost two of his 28 games in all competitions. Remarkably, they have conceded only five goals in their 14 away matches and are in the final of the Carling Cup, still alive in the Champions League and FA Cup, and back in business in the Premier League, four points off the leaders, Manchester United. "Chelsea are the team to fear now," said Cech, the goalkeeper. "With everything that has happened this season, we have got through with great character. Winning all four competitions is possible. "We are using all the squad and it's great to know that we can keep playing well and winning. Imagine the day when everyone comes back - we will be stronger again and able to rotate and rest players." Mourinho fostered a ruthless will to win but Grant, in his understated way, has shown that this is not the sole preserve of the Portuguese. Henk Ten Cate and Steve Clarke, the assistant coaches, do much of the work on the training ground and the cynics suggest that anyone could make a decent fist of Grant's job, such are the resources at his disposal. But that is to overlook the difficulties associated with man-managing two dozen millionaire footballers. "I didn't imagine we'd have so many injuries but you can go two ways: you can trust your squad or bring in six or seven players," said Grant. "It's not easy to find better because the ones here are quality players. They have good character and what they have done in the last months is amazing." At the beginning of December, after the Premier League win over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge, Grant was spotted strolling along Fulham Broadway with Abramovich. Chelsea are in harmony and growing in conviction. http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2008/01/...here_mouri.html

Chelsea Signing Di Santo: Crespo, Tevez My Heroes
warnie_666 replied to TrueChelseaBlue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
He has an Italian Passport....according to reports. But still I think the rules for working in England are different. Alex wasnt allowed to play in England but he could play in Holland. Similarly, these players from south america do get work permits easily to play in Italy or Spain, but not in England. Hence , I feel its the issue thats holding him back. -

Work Permit Brother.......its the same old shit issue of work permit for South American Players in England...I think that has been holding him up from signing. I just hope he gets it soon. -
Without lampard, the mainstay of Chelsea Midfield for last 4-5 seasons, Ballack has been getting alot of balls and has the liberty to mover around in the midfield and command the midfield. When lampard comes, Lampard will take over the responsibilty and thus will get more balls to play around, and Ballack will once again go into a bit of a shell. But I must admit.......Ballack is better than Lamps when it comes to free kicks. No Bloody Doubt about it. His important free kicks against Everton, last season, against Aston villa this season, has saved us from losing. Lampard on the other hand hasnt scored much in last couple of yrs from free kicks. but he is good at thos pile drivers from outside the box.

My Parents - Respect My gf - Luv her Jose Mourinho - Legend CFC palyers - Salute them for the grit that they have shown with the injury ridden squad Drogba- What a striker JT- gets kicked in face but that doesnt stop him from joining the squad in the dressing room. Shane Warne: What a Leggie

Reading the topic name, I was worried why Drogba was Beaten "up" at an award ceremony
-
Looking at Ballack play this season, he seems to have hit form straight away after a lenghty lay off. What a player he has been in this last one month when Chelsea has missed a majority of its first team players. Is it the Captain;s arm band? or is it the absence of Lampard? its anybody's guess. The free kick against Villa, the Penalty against Fulham, the assists, etc.......He is back. But hang on. Where would Ballack play when Lampard returns? And where would essien play when he returns. Will he be the same Ballack? again anybody's guess.
