lol, how many #9 have defensive responsibilities? Ronaldo is actually pretty helpful defensively. If we want our #10 to split his attention 50/50 then we might as well play 433. Just like I don't want my striker being too busy to score, I don't want my #10 being focused on playing defense. Mata controlled the game like crazy when he came on.

If I were Totenham, I would focus more on the players included in this deal. Mainly Di Maria and maybe Ozil/Modric + 40mil

lol, maybe you forget to realize Eden has never out performed Mata in any of our big games. Remember the Totenham game? or the united games? Just because Mata might struggle against more physical teams doesn't mean we should hold our praises for him. lets see Eden go a season without looking average for 1/2 of it

I always catch myself asking how is this guy so productive? Small, slow, and doesn't really dribble past players. But time n time Mata finds a way to be the best player on the pitch.
